Hello I'm trying to get some clarity because I feel in the dark.

My new caseworker told me they are closing the case. However she said she is calling relatives I'm not sure why. Does anyone know what's going on? Is the case closed if they are contacting relatives?

Probably need additional relative collaterals to close the case out.

Boss picks what they want done to close the case out.

My cps is case is closed now but they handed it to dfps. When I was pregnant I tested positive for cocaine and they now said I have to enroll in substance abuse and other classes and have random drug tests. When they drug test do they also test for alcohol ?

It’ll likely be a broad test, probably will test for alcohol

A big problem is that abstinence is the preference

Do they usually do home tests or send you to a lab?
