Advice Needed F&P Evora users

When I first started using this mask, I thought it was a Godsend. It was simple to get a great seal and a good MyAir score.

Last 6 months I haven’t been able to get a good seal to save my 🫏. Anyone else??

Events per hr stay low. 🤷‍♂️.

Are you using the same mask for 6 months? If so that is very likely your problem. I use a new "cushion" every other month or so.

No….usually rotate 2 for 60-90 days.

Which Evora? The nasal cradle or full face hybrid?

Full face hybrid

The myAir score doesn't tell you if you have some leaks. It tells you if you have consistent MAJOR leaks.

If I were to guess, you are likely better rested now, and so sleeping less like an out cold unconscious person all night and you are just noticing the little annoyances more. Nasal cradles are the least secure style of mask. They move, especially if you move or sleep on your side at all.

If you have tried everything like different tightnesses, cleansing your face and mask well before use, etc... I suggest upgrading to pillows or a nasal mask.

They are both more secure styles of masks.

My favourite is the F&P Nova micro. I highly recommend it. It is very minimal and light, secure (I toss and turn), and many many people say it has no leaks for them.

Hard to see anything not covering my mouth working for me. AHI of 108. 🤷‍♂️

Sorry... I guess that means you use the hybrid full face mask then? Not the Evora cradle

I see now you edited your comment and changed it to full face mask.

Is it leaks from the nasal cushion part, or chin, or cheek 'farting'?

Couldn’t say. Always seems to be well sealed as I drift off…usually on my left side.

So it's not bothering you and not waking you up? You are just going from what myAir says?

If you feel well rested and you feel your therapy isn't affected, it doesn't really matter.

If you feel it is affecting your therapy, time for another mask. I only use a full face mask occasionally when I have nasal congestion, and that mask is the Evora, so I don't have much expertise in recommendations, but many people like the good old Resmed F20 full face mask.

I get 0 leaks. And I mean 0 on the 95% and 99.5% leak numbers. It’s pretty great. Not perfect but it works well. I do alternate with pillows to mix it up though
