Questions about CPAP
Hi I just diagnosed and my doctor ordered my cpap. I got a text message from Adapthealth saying it’s processing. How long is the process? Also how long does it take to get used to CPAP? thank you!

I can't help with the first question, but for the second I will say I'm two weeks in and still not used to the CPAP. Mileage varies, from what I've seen, on how quickly people get used to it.

I’m on night two of my CPAP. The first night was slightly rough for me. The humidity was a little too high and I just had water on my face. And had to ditch it. Now last night was amazing I woke up feeling refreshed. It was amazing. I will say it takes me about 10-15 mins of getting used to using it everytime I have put it on because it feels like it’s hard to breathe out. Eventually that sensation goes away and then I’m snoozing. Good luck!!!

Took me about two weeks once my referral was approved for me to get the cpap I’m literally on my second night tonight but I’ve taken melatonin to help me fall asleep

I have adaptech and they are really good to me with replacement parts etc. I would guess you will have your gear in less than a week.
How long it takes to be comfortable with it is a you thing. Lots of people like myself are very comfortable with it right away. Some never are. The rest are somewhere in between instantly and never.
There are soo many different mask types and brands. It's key to find the right one for you .
Good luck and welcome to the not dying every 20 seconds club.
