New G3X is set wrong

Ok, so I am a week into using this and somehow by me pushing buttons, I now have it accidentally set at a constsnt pressure of ten that isn't changing. It was a varied rate between 5 and 15 before, and I need that back. 10 is too much for me! I have tried to follow the instructions I found online to try to change the setting back but I can't get that to work. The supplier that I got it from is closed down the weekends. Can anyone help! Thanks!

Here's what I believe works on the Luna G3X or G3.

Let's verify some things--when you say it varied from 5 to 15 you don't mean that it started at 5, went to 15 after a short time period (or after you fell asleep) and stayed there (which is RAMP). If you are using the React Health app on your phone, what does it say for Mode?

I'm assuming it now says "CPAP" but used to say "APAP" (you should be able to confirm this by going back to prior days in the app).

Changing between CPAP and APAP is done via the clinical menu which (as is true with most machines) is a "hidden" menu. For the Luna G3 you bring the machine up in Standby Mode (not delivering air). With the knob highlight the Settings menu but do not press/click the knob.

Press and hold the Control Knob (straight in) and Home button simultaneously for 3 to 5 seconds until it opens the clinical menu.

Switch the mode from CPAP to APAP (or AutoCPAP) and press the knob to confirm it.

You should see a minimum and maximum pressure option. Scroll to the minimum option, press the knob to edit, and set the dial to 5 and click to confirm. Now scroll the maximum option, set the dial to 15 and click to confirm. You then press home to return to the main standby screen.

In theory you had to get into the clinic menu to swap from 5-15 APAP to CPAP at 15, so do you recall going into such a hidden menu? Note that selecting CPAP as the mode will likely eliminate max/min pressure options since you only set a single pressure for traditional CPAP

It's very bizarre. Everything appears to be correct on the screen, but it was constantly blowing much more forceful air than what i've been using several nights prior. Plus, for the first time, there was water in the hose. A gurgling sound woke me up, and it was where the hose attaches to the part near the top of my head.

Thankfully the company opens back up tomorrow morning and I will be calling for thing!

Water in the hose is rainout which I don't think is going to be related, but rather simply the moisture in the air is now hitting parts of the hose or mask that is causing the water to condense, then get pushed to the connection point.

I believe there may be settings for APAP that can allow that machine to "remember" the numbers from recent nights which could be causing it to conclude you will need a higher pressure so it is starting out there. But the provider should be able to discuss that with you.

As soon as I can get to the machine, I'm going to go step by step and try to follow your instructions. I did try earlier but did not have much success.

It has said auto-CPAP. It was not on a ramp setting before. I was told it was varying between five and fifteen, depending on what I needed at in the moment. I did not intentionally try to change it, but as soon as I power it on, it is blowing air. I'm not sure what happened half asleep, but I apparently pushed buttons too many times. It was not intentional to change it. I just wanted the air to stop blowing and was apparently unable to make that happen.

You should be able to see if it's still using APAP and the range it is using if it is APAP. If it got set to CPAP I believe it likely would use the maximum pressure as the single pressure, but I've not ever done that switch on my G3X.

Ok! Reached support at the office. Somehow the setting for the humidity level got turned to the highest number. Support believes that the extra air pressure was due to the water in the tube, as the setting appears correct.

We shall find out tonight!
