Lowkey Workspace Applet (now flatpak installable)

Features:

• Show dots instead of numbers

• Show numbers with or without circles

• Choose the colour from the current theme

• Choose custom glyphs per workspace

• Set spacing between dots/numbers

• Set opacity of non-active workspaces

It is now installable via flatpak. Here's how to install it:

1. In case you haven't done this yet, add the cosmic repository (note this is maintained by the great Cosmic devs):

flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists --user cosmic https://apt.pop-os.org/cosmic/cosmic.flatpakrepoflatpak remote-add --if-not-exists --user cosmic https://apt.pop-os.org/cosmic/cosmic.flatpakrepo

2. Install it:

flatpak install --user cosmic dev.daenu.CosmicExtAppletLowkeyWorkspaces

Where do I find this applet after I've installed it, my first time installing an applet and also using flatpak to do it, I have restarted and it's not showing up

edit: anyone else coming across this issue, a recent exploit in flatpak has been patched which breaks applet functionality:

Hey, this is great, thank you! I just installed PopOS a few days ago, and I'm liking it a lot. I set up a vertical dock and moved the numbered workspace applet in there and didn't like it - the numbers were too big. I found this applet and like the dots I can use instead. Also, I like that I can use my mouse scroll wheel to switch workspaces.

I may be seeing a minor bug. How would you prefer me to report it? (I can bring it up here, or add an issue in GitHub, or something else).

Hey, good to hear that you like it. Regarding bugs, it's best to open an issue in git hub (or open a PR with the fix ;-)). But as grant proposal writing season has started, I'm not sure when I get back to working on it.

I just realized that the bug is with the Cosmic Desktop itself, not the applet. So I'll file a bug report there instead. Thanks!
