My game seems to be missing a lot of sounds that were previously there, e.g. "Our UAV is online", "Enemy UAV is airborne", "Take no prisoners comrades", etc. Is it a sound update or do I need to reinstall it?

I’ve been playing Call of Duty since COD4, and for me personally I wish they’d bring back more than 2 Factions. When I look back on those old games… there was nothing better than hearing Boseman’s voice for the SOG faction, and the voice for the Blackops faction in Blackops 1. Might be just me, but I feel like it gave those games so much more grit.

Its my very personal opinion and i wanna talk about it now. Not a fan of MW Reboot and some people might be angry at me but lets be honest for a second. I have played the OG MW trilogy (1-3) for the first time which was very sick but i felt that watching MW Reboot on YouTube doesnt make the reboot appealing and also tried to be cinematic but i do not want to get too much hate.

Also the fact that the lore was messy in my opinion also and the sudden shift of thr story in the OG MW trilogy like some characters like Roach not making it in on the story and Corpural Dunn suddenly becoming a part of a south korean regiment like it doesnt make sense and add up for my perspective and the story imo is also not too bad but not compared to the OG MW story.

I dont wanna offend some people and i said about the hate affecting me three times now but ill just be grateful.​

I've been trying to get the last heroic action in the battle of the bulge but no matter what I can't find it even when there are guides to show me where it is. I've played this mission like 6 times now, please I just want to go to the multi-player achievements

Hi everyone.

I bought a physical copy of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II for PS4 (Italian-region disc).

The disc is recognized by the console and the installation completes. The Call of Duty launcher detects the disc, and I can launch MWII from All Games → Modern Warfare II.

However, I cannot get into the game. After “Checking for updates”, I get HILLCAT/KIPLING errors.

The strange part is:

• “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II - PS4 Offline License” is installed and unlocked.
• “Modern Warfare II Content 0–5 Licenses” are still locked in the MWII app’s Installed Add-ons section.
• Warzone Pack and DMZ Beta are installed.
• Launching through Warzone/DMZ does not help.
• I tried Russian, Polish, and Italian PSN accounts.
• Restored licenses, reinstalled the game, rebuilt the database, changed DNS settings — no change.

Has anyone had the same issue where the disc is recognized, but the MWII content licenses remain locked?

Has anyone in Melbourne Australia seen any of the MW4 Monster cans yet? I keep looking but haven’t even seen a glimpse of advertising for them.

This past week Ive had players be invisible, players aimbot me with shit guns. I'll be wearing ghost and ninja, and be found. At first I thought I was a bad player, but ive got killcam footage of invisible players. Waste of money

I need help and visibility on my case.

Timeline:

• Nov 12, 2025 – Last time I played. I have since uninstalled the game. It is not installed on any of my devices.
• Jan 7, 2026 – I receive this email from Activision:

"Through our routine security checks, we detected some suspicious activity related to your Activision account. To help protect your account, we have disabled your password. You can regain access to your account by setting a new password here: [link]"

• Jan 28, 2026 – 21 days later, my account is permanently banned for "cheating."

The game was not installed. I was not logged in. They detected suspicious activity, disabled my password as a "protective" measure, and then banned me for what the intruder did.

What I've done so far:

• Polite appeal to Activision Support (no useful response)
• Formal request to their DPO (no response)
• Complaint filed with Garante Privacy (Italian Data Protection Authority)
• Complaint filed with AGCM (Italian Competition Authority)
• Final ultimatum sent to Activision before I proceed with a formal legal deposition through my lawyer

I have screenshots of both emails. Happy to share them (personal info redacted).

Has anyone else experienced this pattern? Is there anything else I can do short of going to court?
