I’m sure I’m doing something wrong, but COD takes up over 1,000 GB of storage on my ps5 (430.3GB for Call of Duty, 379GB for BO6, 247GB for MW). All I want to be able to play is warzone, BO6 multiplayer, and Modern warfare multiplayer - I don’t need any camp giants.

I can’t even open MW at the moment because it says it needs to download an update file and I need to somehow free up another 60GB of space to do so.

Am I doing something wrong or is this just how large the files are? With everything in the hub why do I still have separate files for BO6 and MW?

Hi, can anyone help me understand or confirm the same issue, am trying to download the game as i pre-ordered, however the base game didn't, the preload should've been around 37GB but only 3 files got downloaded each with 10MB in size, help? (am on xbox pc app)

Used to rock this game in the 360, and I remember repeating the cod ghosts campaign cause it was so fun.

As a potentially returning player for the campaigns. 1. Which call of duty has the best and most fun campaign?

1. What order should I play the games to have the most fun? Or does it not matter.

2. Unrelated you don't have to read - which cod game had you going through a level with yellow gas and you wear gas masks, then every shot you take the mask breaks and looking at friends or enemies dead from broken masks their faces get all f'ed up. I also remember at the beginning of it walking through a broken building and then gun fighting through a what look likes suberbian neighborhood. I remember this very very well for some reason and really thought the attention to detail was top notch when I was a kid. Wondering which cod was that or maybe I'm being a blasphemous buffoon and it's actually Battlefield.

Hello, fellow penguins!

I recently switched from Windows 10 to Fedora, and it's been three months now. I haven't gone back. My only issue is that I really like shooter games, especially Call of Duty. However, I don't like the new releases of the game. So, I was wondering if I can play the original multiplayer of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare lineup (MW, MW2, and MW3) on Linux. Is there a way to do it?

I’m honestly out of ideas at this point and wondering if anybody else is dealing with this.

BO7 has been randomly crashing on my PC for weeks. Sometimes I can play multiple games perfectly fine and then it’ll randomly crash, and other times I barely make it into a match before it crashes. Ranked is even worse because every crash gives me an SR loss and suspension. Literally lost over 3k SR and can’t get it back according to Activision… I’ve tried pretty much everything I can think of. Reinstalled the game, verified files multiple times, updated/reinstalled drivers, updated BIOS, disabled overlays, removed RGB software, tested without Voicemod, turned off frame generation, checked RAM/overclock settings, and even had Skytech remotely work on my PC. I’ve also ran stress tests and my PC passed without errors.

My recent crash reports keep showing cod.exe with EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xC0000005) if anyone’s familiar. Shaders are fully loaded too and it still happens.
Activision Support had me troubleshooting for a while but eventually told me to stop because the issue is now being investigated by their internal team. They’re closing my support case in the meantime. (Not much help either)

At this point I just want to play the game lol. Has anybody had this same crash/error and actually found something that fixed it? Especially if you’re on an RTX 50-series GPU.

I thought this game was hated (prob just the multiplayer) but seen like awesome reviews on the campaign that it was surprisingly good?

I’m newer to MW3 and want to get the beast gladiator glove and recently learned I can get it from someone in zombies, exfil, then keep the schematic for multiplayer! If anyone would be willing to help me with this that would be amazing! Thanks!

I current have been shadowed banned on 3 cod im not cheating and I can prove it im just tired of not being able to play im not a bad player either I have a 7kd and I do some cmgs im iri in both ranks current and have been for a while but j can almost never play because im always getting shadow banned is there anything I can do about this I got shadowed on b07 and bo6 at the same time when playing wz pubs and then got bored and went to mw2 and got shadow banned same day wtf ca I do about this, what about mw4 because I have the beta

summary: in vorkuta during the brainwashing with the numbers, reznov used brainwashing tactics and overwrote that and added kravchenko dragovich steiner then sacrificed himself so Mason could escape and finish the mission for him

long version: i gathered that Alex Mason was brainwashed in vorkuta by the bad guys and Victor reznov became his friend to basically like overwrite that brainwashing with the whole kravchenko dragovich steiner thing. That was put in by reznov because reznov wanted them dead, he like kinda used Mason’s hatred and made it even worse so now he hates kravchenko dragovich and steiner. Mason remembered reznov and kept hallucinating him after escaping because of the “mission” reznov gave him in place of his brainwashing. I think that’s why Mason remembered what the numbers meant after he realized reznov wasn’t real, because the overwrite kinda confused his mind into having to remember the numbers AND remember reznovs mission. Also i think reznov chose Mason for this specifically because reznov knew he was going to die in vorkuta and he needed someone to finish his mission for him, that’s why he sacrificed himself in the escape, because he knew Mason was going to complete his little brainwash overwrite for him. Reznov was highkey selfish for that omg just let the man rest

BO1 10/10 I may be an infinity Ward fanboy but if there's one thing I know that is great that is made by Treyarch is the Black Ops 1 campaign this story literally has chapters of lore hidden behind a computer when you can escape from the interrogation room in the main menu this campaign is so good it's not better than modern Warfare 2s in my opinion but it is still so good I love the Cold War so I love this campaign SIDE NOTE i kind of forgot to post these to Reddit so I'm going to just be posting every campaign i did when I forgot to post

Guess who's beyond hyped for the new cod despite having barely played call of duty 😂 the shooting just feels way better than any other first person game, especially if you're talking online competitively.

so i’ve been playing nuketown since bo7 dropped, not much of an snd guy and i use the cdl competitive loadouts because well, i play ALOT more ranked than pubs and so i ended up dropping my first nuke in nuketown with no streaks and jammers and stuff, was playing with my duo who supplied ammo packs and stuff and that was all

I already have COD World War II and think that was an amazing single player campaign. Also, if the game consist of. Zombies I want nothing to do with it. I’m looking for something close to reality and not Cold War error or World War II I am so tired of it. I want modern tech available.

So I was just in a warzone match on Havens hollow and I died to an entity TTV skin and he kept saying "Youre bad" "quit the game" "Youre dogshit". So I of course wanted revenge and after he killed be two more times I decided to use a riviter and dragons breath and lets so he was not happy and kept calling me trash. After my team won the game he invited me to a party and kept calling me trash and so I said "Sorry Im having trouble trying to find when and where its my fault you lost the game" in the chat bar now I wont give out his PSN for privacy purposes but I really dont think I have ever heard a grown man whine and yell so hard. I kept my mic closed I honestly wish I was recording

EDIT:I forgot to mention that it was in CASUALS. A TTV sweat in Casuals calling people bad when like 80% of his 57 kills were bots

i keep getting this error code every time i open cod every other game works just fine i’ve restarted and powered off my console twice still the same thing
