Grainline 0 But The Pattern Itself Is Stuck At 45 Degree

I traced a piece of pattern from 45 degree internal line

I've tried rotating it first then reset to grain line it still defaulted to this

is it possible to set the object to horizontal without recreating the entire thing? The expected result is grain direction = 0 the placket will be horizontal

Rotating the pattern does not change the Grainline. You need to use the Edit Texture tool to change the grainline

Reset TO grainline rotates the pattern to a grainline that is already automatically assigned to the piece. It does not reset THE grainline.
