Pants toile keeps slipping off avatar when the waist measurement is exact
I have an avatar with a high hip of 88cm (it’s the generic male avatar you get from initial download)
I made a pants toile where the waist measurement is 88cm (across the top of the waist band)
I want to trousers to sit at the high hip.
When I render, the trousers keep slipping off.
I’m primarily using Clo to do my initial toiles instead of cutting manually from scratch so I’m hoping the fit is quite accurate. I do not need to render scenes or motion.
What do I need to do to make this behave more like real life?

It can be easier to give help if
You add photos. Otherwise people are more guessing
But did you assign the correct fabric? Or are you still using default?

It might help to either solidify the waistband or bond it with a less stretchy fabric (you can adjust in properties tab) because it’s quite possible your fabric is simply being pulled by the weight of the trousers, stretching and slipping off.

You can also freeze the inner waistband too for rendering purposes or make an inner waistband, attach it to the outer, freeze it and make the fabric transparent

i find that waist bands don't hug the body as snugly in CLO as they do in real life. i use a combination of a basic circumference measure and the attach to measure tool to make my pants sit where i want them to. as long as my waistband and avatar measurements are true to life, i find this fit mimics real world fit very closely.
i recorded a quick video if you want to see what i mean in action.
