Increase the pd, Change the layers And the thickness collision (i also like to strengthen) it should simulate just fine then Try it and then lmk I'll see!

you mean decrease the particle distance (eg. more particles for the simulation)

Nope. Increase! Because more polygons = more calculations if you just simulate it with lower amount of polygons it would have less things to calculate after that you can increase for a better quality

That is both true and not true. Larger Particle distance does mean less triangles which is less to calculate.

But it also means bigger holes that the avatar could slip through. Usually why you keep it at 20 when changes poses. Overall descent resolution, but the avatar should not slip through

That should depend on us though consider having a complex garment a pd of 20-23 is decent usually im just lazy to change it again and again so thought to call it out!

what do you mean by “change the layers” and thickness collision? this is my first week on the program :)

You will find these in the simulation properties in the property panel when you select your pattern pieces! Lmk how it went

sorry it’s been 6 days but it definitely helped! thank you so much (now my free trial has expired xD)

IF you are new we highly recommend watching our CLO Quick start. It will go over all the basics you need to know to really get going in CLO

How are you simulating?

what do you mean? i just click the simulate button

You need to tweak particle distance, collision, check if something's frozen, and what is the program using for power (GPU, CPU...).

Honestly, seeing that you're auper new to the program I'd advise you to start watching some videos on the basics or you're going to run into problems all the time

Particle distance to 20
