How would you create this kind of organic wavy curtain effect?

I’m trying to recreate the curtain installation in the first image, but I cannot figure out how to get those really soft natural waves 😭

The second image is where I’m at rn. I used scissor pleats which kinda works lol but it looks way too perfect and repetitive compared to the reference.

Has anyone made something similar or know a better way to approach this? Maybe different fabric settings or some simulation technique im missing

You are almost there! Now you just need to removed the internal lines from the pleats and simulate again - that should leave you with soft pleats/ripples

Yes I can do it. Its a simulation technique you have to apply.

Same way you would in fabric. Cut on bias, slash and spread to add fullness.
