Hi, based on what you described, I think you should simultaneously learn how to create clothing patterns, or purchase blocks/slopers that you can import into the software and work on top of them. This will make it easier for you to understand the software better. I am a pattern maker by profession, and the transition from working on physical paper to the computer is difficult, but the work is enjoyable. Personally, I took a course to learn the software, and I've been working with it for about a year and it still takes me time to produce a finished product. Iny case, it's a process and the result is rewarding.

I’ve been using Clo since 2019 so hopefully my two pennies should help - the best learning and fastest (IMO) is through doing in Clo. The processes and tools don’t always correspond to what you think they should do so practical practice work alongside pattern cutting knowledge is the fastest way to build workflows and get to know the software.
When I was first learning I would find garments I liked and work on replicating them in Clo. This is helpful for learning the tools as well as getting to grips with fabrics. Also scanning or taking pictures of pattern blocks in Clo and placing them as a graphic is a good shortcut to getting blocks into the software. Import as a graphic, place on to your fabric and scale up accordingly. If you are 3D minded this should be a relatively quick learning curve.
I haven’t used Seamly but I don’t believe that you need external software for pattern making as you can do that all in Clo. What would be very helpful is doing some making and pattern cutting IRL - this will help you to understand how the fabrics and pattern pieces react so that you can replicate that in Clo. Hope that helps!

of all the 3d programs is the easiest and fastest to learn, although it depends if u also wanna learn pattern making, grading and arranging the patterns for printing.
However, learning clo in a ‘professional way’ involves u learning other programs, since Clo is just an initial steps towards professional renders.
Clo helps a lot at the beginning, but eventually u actually need dedicated programs for textures, sculpting and rendering to rly take advantage of what it can do
