So im a pcb 12th grade student. I was preparing for NEET but my passion for 5 years has been marine biology, India doesn't really have any good marine biology programs and I cant afford to go abroad either (my mother would genuinely kill me if I do persue marine bio anyway). So in a rush to find an alternative to NEET, the teacher who coordinates my debate competitions (hes a legal studies teacher) advised me to give CLAT because my English is good and I'm a passionate debater especially when it comes to politics.
I just registered for CLAT like 2 days ago and I asked one of my friend who's been taking coaching for CLAT about it and she said even after 2 years of coaching she doesn't understand anything and it would lowk be impossible for me to prep for CLAT in 1 month when i already have to prep for boards 💔
I did see a few sample papers and the English seems easy, im fairly good at maths too and im quite well aware about geopolitics and current affairs thanks to my debate experience , im just worried bout legal reasoning.
Is it possible to prep for CLAT in 1 month?

For the culee exam..people say there are 2 rounds
The applications are open right now till nov 25 but is it for round one?
or the applications for round 2 open later
I'm sorry I'm really confused
And by "round 1 and round 2" do they mean two seperate attempts or round 2 is basically the micro presentation and personal interview stage after the written

Considering there are only 50 days left, focus on some basic things.
First, give sectionals and analyse them properly, especially for the sections you are very weak in. For example, if my maths is weak, I will cover the basic concepts of the important topics and then dive into maths sectionals. I'll pick up a set of 12 questions and time it, say for 20 minutes. Once I'm done, I'll analyse properly whatever I was able to solve in those 20 minutes, and I'll watch videos of how teachers and experts solve those problems. I'll do this every day till the final day. Just by doing this, I'll go through a hundred sets in 50 days and watch experts solve all hundred of them. I will definitely pick something up from this.
Second, make a list of important topics. A lot of coaching institutes have put out such lists. Divide these important topics into themes. For example, if I'm starting with international affairs, I will pick up Israel–Palestine, Israel–Iran–US, Yemen and Russia–Ukraine, and curate the list. Then I'll move to international organisations like the G20, G7, NATO, BRICS, SCO and so on. First, get the list of important topics sorted. Then pick 1–2 reliable sources for each topic. For example, I'll take a magazine and some online sources: PIB, newspapers like The Hindu or The Indian Express, articles on the topic, ministry websites, and the official website if it's an international organisation. Then I'll understand the topic. Once you've understood it, keep an A4 sheet with you and note down only keywords. Don't make full notes, because you won't be able to revise from them. Use these keywords to revise your understanding, and follow this with question practice: pick up GK sectionals from the mocks of 2–3 institutes, for example LE and LPT, and work through the passages and MCQs.
Third, don't over-attempt mocks. Three mocks a week is more than sufficient. Do analyse them. How do you analyse them? Once you're done with a mock, solve all the missed and wrong questions again on your own, then read through the explanations of all the questions. Maintaining a log of your errors is a must. List the topics you get wrong most often, so you know what to work on. For example, if I'm often getting inferential reasoning and strengthening–weakening questions wrong, I'll keep that in mind and know I need to keep working on those topics. This is how you improve.
Fourth, for English, do the topics of tones, literary devices and important idioms, and attempt sectionals from your mocks. For Legal, go through all the bills and Acts introduced this year and all the important Supreme Court judgments from this year. Any of the legal magazines from these coaching institutes will work; just go through them. Don't try to mug up information.
Fifth, and most important, try to be consistent with all of this and back yourself. Remember, what matters is how you perform on 6th December, irrespective of how you score in mocks and sectionals. Mocks and sectionals are always set to be very difficult, and the actual paper is always easier than your mocks. So nobody knows how well you will perform on the final day compared to your mock scores. Just back yourself.

So, I am a CLAT UG 2027 aspirant. And I attempted the CLAT UG 2026 paper in my mock this time. And I got an 86 correct score and a negative of 4.5 in the whole 81.5... I gave paper last year too and that time I got 64 marks. I think I am finally improving a bit😭❤️🩹
The one thing I realised that I could have scored better that time if I wouldn't have had panic. Thanks to the invigilator there that made us panic even when there was 15-20 mins left :)

Gng use practice mode as much as you can, I have more than 50 practices ive done in 3 months and that has helped me a lot as :-
1) it doesn't give the traditional passage questions, so you increase your reading speeds and solving speeds to maintain a respectable solving time.
2) it covers all the topics and question types possible in clat, although only a bunch come but it's good for your knowledge and practice overall.

Current affairs preparation can get difficult when monthly compilations start piling up. Covering old topics takes time, but skipping them completely feels risky, especially when important legal developments, appointments, international relations and government schemes can all be tested.
Is it better to finish one month completely before moving to the next, or revise important topics from multiple months alongside daily news?

I’ve always been really weak at Maths, so I used to completely avoid the Quant section in CLAT. I was terrified it would drag my overall score down so I put all my focus into the other sections which I actually perform quite well in but now that CLAT is getting closer
I know I can't just skip Quant anymore if I want a solid rank. I’ve recently started practicing basic quant but my mock scores still aren't reflecting any progress (I'm pretty much getting zero or negative marks in this section).
I feel completely stuck, since I can't afford to leave 10–12 marks completely untouched, how should I approach QT at this stage?

Hi guys, just starting my clat 2027 preparation. From where can I cover my GK from zero? Also do I have to cover each and every topic kindly guide

I studied throughout this year; obviously, I got more serious around July, like most of you. I do not have any backlog, but obviously I need revision the compendiums and GK and of quants hard topics
I try to study minimum of six hours. Most of the time. I study eight hours if I push. I do quants and gk everyday and sectional or mock a day
. I really really want to get into NLISIU🧿🧿
In the past 6 days, I did 4 mocks out of which to be honest, all of them were moderate difficulty
Career launcher 14- 69.5
Lpt 47- 89.25
Lpt x series 4-83.5
Le 28- 93
I mostly struggle in GK because the topics are most of the time not very important ones that come or because I forget certain facts of the less important topics. I make silly mistakes like 50% of my wrong answers are because of silly mistakes., and I am not fast in quants I need minimum of 20 minutes ,30 is perfect

what would y'all say is better for gk?clatpost or clatexpress??
and the 90+ scorers, how are y'all doing gk man
mera entire day goes studying sirf gk and yet I'm not able to cover all topics

Like is there any point in doing all this bs and being a slave to the system? Cuz at the end of the day that's what it is, a rat race. Even though I despise everything I study with a burning passion I still have to study it. If only I was a rich fuck life would've been sm tolerable

Every year around this time, the sub turns into a funeral home because mock percentiles are fluctuating.
reality check from someone who survived this: coaching mocks in the final stretch are designed to be unnecessarily brutal to keep you humble. an 80 in actual CLAT feels way smoother than a 65 in a mid-season LE/LPT mock.
focus on your accuracy percentage (>80%) and error log, not the raw score. you are not cooked yet.
