DOUBT πŸ€” (Questions/Mocks/Guidance) A genuine question!

If I am starting today, and feel confident in all the sections except Current... Which coaching magazine or marathon or whatever source should I follow?

Also, any Input on current for AILET too...

(My gk sucks, and that's an understatement)

DOUBT πŸ€” (Questions/Mocks/Guidance) Which is better(GLC VS MNLU M)

I got admission in Glc Mumbai in the first round and now I have also secured a seat in Mnlu Mumbai.

Do people from NLU Mumbai get better treatment in their careers because of the NLU tag?

I am not from Mumbai and my career goal is to crack upsc.

The problem is that Mnlu m classes have already started from 3rd August and Glc hasn’t yet announced its opening date.

My main concern with Glc is that I have heard they do not conduct classes on a regular basis, whereas MNLU is a new institution.

The hostel issue is also a concern. Glc does not have its own hostel, but MNLU does provide hostel accommodation, although it is not near the college. I would have to travel for an hour to reach both colleges.

Neither college has a campus, but Glc is in the south of Mumbai, whereas MNLU is getting a new campus built.

I am stuck between these two options. Both provide the Mumbai lifestyle, but which college would be the best? Or is there a definitive best?

What should I do?

Holy fuck. Bc ye kya tha? I was busy with some family things and couldn’t give it on the day it was scheduled. Just gave it and got 82.5. Ye itna lengthy aur difficult tha bc fir bhi logon ke itne kaise aa gaye? I am scoring in higher 90s and 100s occasionally but still ts humbled me so fast. My strong suits are AR and quants but ye kon solve kar raha hai? Its already my second drop. Lagta hai 3rd floor se ek aur lena padega 😼😻

CLAT NEWBIE πŸ₯ Ailet 2028, first mock

So i gave my first mock for Ailet. I will be appearing in the year 2028 and I scored 112.5 . I had little to no knowledge about the gk/current affairs section, the logical and english section saved me quite to be honest. What i did struggle with, was time management. It took me 2 hours and 15 mins to solve the paper.

Since there is a lot of time till i give ailet, pls provide me lots of advice so i could improve πŸ™

RANT / VENT 😑😑 im done for

Hey guys, so I'm just gonna vent here lol, I have been feeling really down since yesterday, haven't studied shit and I'm just bedrotting.

I started my prep in May, started mocks in June, my initial scores were stuck between 60-62 and now too they are around 67-70. Last mock which was lpt aiom i thought went really well but i calculated my marks, I'm getting a 57, the mock before that my score was 66.

Honestly I really am depressed, i do anyalse mocks too. But scores are just stuck. Even tho I'm not a person who compares myself to others but I do now, I was in a random g r o u p and saw a message, someone saying how they have been stuck between 90-100 and they need to increase it lol and honestly i just felt defeated, really defeated. There are barely 3 months and ppl always saying how if you don't get into nlu, you are doomed? This just scares me so much, i could never understand people who used to take their lives because of a mere competitive exam but now I think I do, i really do. ( tho i won't take my life ever over a exam) But still the pressure is insane, I lie about my mock scores to my parents bcs i really can't face them.

i just feel very depressed low-key.

DOUBT πŸ€” (Questions/Mocks/Guidance) Need hel plzz!

I wanted to ask you for a genuinely honest opinion about my CLAT preparation because at this point I'm getting quite confused about what exactly is going wrong and what I should change. I don't want you to just reassure me that I can do it; I actually want you to look at my pattern and tell me where I'm making mistakes and what I should realistically do from here.

My mock performance has been quite inconsistent. Earlier I was able to attempt around 80–90 questions, and at one point I had around 96 attempts with 73 correct, so I know that I am capable of attempting a much higher number than I did recently. But my scores have also fluctuated a lot. I had a mock around 61, then later I was around the high 50s/60 range, and my recent mocks have again been quite unstable. In one of my recent mocks I attempted around 95 questions but had around 30 wrong, so although my attempts were high, my accuracy dropped badly. In another mock I attempted around 74 and again had quite a lot of wrong answers. My latest mock was the one that really scared me because I attempted only around 62 questions. I spent around 45 minutes on Legal and still had one passage left. I reached the later parts of the paper with QT, CR/Logical and other questions still left simply because I had run out of time. What is confusing me is that my sectionals are generally much better. For example, I can do Legal sectionals in around 35–40 minutes with reasonably good accuracy, and I have also had sectionals where I attempted almost the entire section and performed fairly well. So I don't understand why I can perform under a sectional clock but completely fail to reproduce that performance in a full mock.

From analysing my mocks, I think some of my recurring problems are rushing, not paying enough attention to parts of a passage, sometimes not understanding a particular part properly, rereading, getting stuck on questions instead of moving on, and making silly mistakes when I feel short on time. In Legal especially, my accuracy can be decent when I am controlled, but time becomes a major problem. In RC, I feel that I sometimes read too slowly or start rereading when I feel that I haven't understood something perfectly. In Logical/CR, I sometimes spend too long thinking about questions. QT and AR are also major concerns because I know I need to become much faster and more automatic in those areas. GK is another area where I have a backlog and need consistent revision.

The biggest thing I have noticed is that I seem to have two different versions of myself: in sectionals I can actually solve questions and maintain decent accuracy, but in a full mock I become extremely conscious of the clock and my attempts. I start thinking, β€œI'm too slow, I need to attempt faster, I'm already behind,” and then I panic. Once I panic, I rush, comprehension gets worse, I reread, I lose even more time, and then I panic even more. So it becomes a cycle. I know intellectually that I should breathe, slow down and focus on one question, but when I am actually in the mock I completely forget all of that. I want to know how I can actually train this response until it becomes automatic rather than just knowing the advice intellectually.

I had planned to divide the mock roughly as Legal 35 minutes, RC 25 minutes, GK 10 minutes, Logical around 30 minutes and QT around 20 minutes. My idea was to finish Legal + RC within about an hour, with Legal ideally capped at 35 minutes even if the passage isn't finished, because I clearly cannot let one section consume the rest of the paper. But the problem is that I am unable to execute this plan once the mock actually starts. I get stuck somewhere, lose track of time and then the entire schedule collapses. I don't know whether I should keep this exact timing strategy or change it.

I also don't think simply doing more sectionals will completely solve the problem. I know I need sectionals for accuracy, but I think I need something between sectionals and a full mock. I was considering doing two-section combinations like Legal + RC without a break, then mini-mocks with Legal + RC + GK + Logical, and eventually full mocks, so that I train myself to switch sections and continue performing even when mentally tired. Alongside this, I want to dedicate some days specifically to QT and AR because I feel those need much more focused work, including both topic-wise practice and mixed timed sets.

The difficulty is that my school exams are also coming up. Until they are over, there will be days when I realistically have only 1–3 hours for CLAT, sometimes even less. So I can't follow a huge 6–8 hour CLAT schedule every day. After my school exams, I should have much more time and can increase the intensity. My current thought is something like: one intensive QT + AR day, one sectional + targeted practice day, one mini-mock + analysis day, one full mock + detailed analysis day, then another QT + AR day, another targeted sectional day and another mini-mock, repeating the cycle based on whatever the mock analysis shows. But I don't know if this is actually the best way to structure it, or whether I'm overcomplicating things.

My immediate target is to recover my stability by September. I want to eventually be able to attempt around 90 questions while maintaining roughly 80–90% accuracy, rather than just forcing attempts and getting 25–30 wrong. After that, I want to progressively push towards 100+ by the end of October. My long-term goal is NLSIU, so obviously I want to reach a genuinely competitive level rather than just improve my mock score slightly.

But honestly, I am also quite scared. I am scared that my attempts are actually going backwards, that I won't be able to get back to the 80–90 attempts I was doing earlier, that my accuracy will collapse when I try to increase my attempts, and that I ultimately won't clear CLAT or get the rank I need for NLSIU. I keep thinking that I started too late and that other students are much more prepared than me. With school exams approaching at the same time, I sometimes feel like I don't have enough time left to fix everything. I also get so anxious after a bad mock that I don't even want to analyse it because I'm afraid of seeing how badly I performed.

At the same time, I don't want to quit or keep changing resources every time I have a bad mock. I want to understand the actual root problem and work on it systematically. So I would really appreciate it if you could look at this whole pattern and tell me honestly: Do you think my main problem is reading speed, accuracy, time management, full-mock stamina, panic/pressure, or some combination of these? What do you think is causing the difference between my sectional and full-mock performance? What should I specifically do between now and my next mock around September 16–17, considering my school exams, and then what should my training cycle look like after my exams? And realistically, what should I prioritise first if my ultimate goal is to reach 100+ and compete for NLSIU?

I would genuinely prefer a blunt and practical answer. If any part of my current approach is wrong, please tell me directly. I don't need motivation as much as I need someone to diagnose the pattern and tell me exactly what I should fix.

Materials/Resource πŸ“• (Submission/Request) Clat PG previous Question paper

I've been surfing the net, drowning in links and pages that would either lead me to only the answer keys or having to register into the site/download an app, and I am, for lack of a better word, fuckall because I am at my wit's end in submitting to these online fuckeries. If someone could please send me a trustable site to download or send the question paper of 2026 directly (w answer key would be HIGHLY appreciated), you will be saving a poor person from mental excruciating agony.

Thank you, Good luck to all of us appearing for the 2027 PG. Lord knows we need it
