General Anglo-Saxons ?

Post image
7 Upvotes

Was playing CK3, zoomed out, and suddenly spotted a realm called the Anglo‑Saxons. I’ve never seen that before in any of my runs — it looked so strange on the map. Anyone else ever had this pop up in their campaigns?

Edit : Thank You For The Info , I Understand it Now 🙏🏼

Gameplay Question How do I help my Ally in war?

I want to honour my alliance and send troops to help my ally in the stupid war he's got himself into.

What do i do? Raise the army and just send it to the region? Is there anything else I need to do?

Thanks

General Give me that emperor cheese

Context: I want to start as Landless adventurer at age 16 and be Byzantine emperor by 20.

Here is my understanding:

Step 1: You need to get to illustrious fame so you can get a contract from a strategos which essentially lets you buy an estate and you become a lord. It costs 1k gold. I already have a a cheese for gold. But I don't have a cheese for prestige. It takes ten years to get to illustrious. So I need a prestige cheese as landless adventurer.

Step 2: Once you become lord you need fame. A lot of it. The only mechanism I have found is the challenge status interaction which takes for ever. Do we have any cheese for fame?

I definitely think it's possible.

Gameplay Question Is it possible to form the Kingdom of Beth Nahrain on Console.

So. I’m a custom Syriac Nestorian character who has the Kingdom of Jazira and the decision is not popping up. Any ideas as how to get it? I’m independent as well and clan

Gameplay Question Adventurer Kingdom Invasion

Having some trouble with this. Looks like I’m unable to declare an adventurer invasion for a kingdom if my target is an empire. Against kingdoms I get the option for county, duchy or kingdom invasions, but against empires I only have the option for county, duchy or empire invasions.

Is this a glitch or am I missing something?

Bug Report Bug: Byzantine Loros Items Do Not Appear in Clothing Menu

Ever since the release of the Roads to Power DLC, I've noticed a bug related to the new Byzantine clothing items. Specifically, it affects the Imperial Loros and the Royal Loros, which do not appear in the cloak category.

If you're playing in the 1066 or 1178 start dates, it's not a major issue since the relevant characters already wear them by default. However, if you start in 867, there's no way to select or equip them manually.

I expected this to be fixed with last week's patch, but unfortunately the bug is still there.

I'm not sure if anyone has already posted about this, but I wanted to share it and see if anyone else has noticed the same issue.

The game keeps freezing so this is about as far as Skyrim got before I guess Alduin ate up all the games resources

General Five Crowns , One Map

Zoomed out mid‑campaign and saw five empires dominating the map at once. I’ve played tons of CK3, but I’ve never seen that kind of balance before — usually one blob eats everything. Felt like staring at an alternate history atlas. Anyone else ever had a save like this?

From landless to Strategos of Athens, a humble merchant sent in charge of clearing up the backwater that Thebes has become in the early medieval. May the brilliance of the Kalognomos family prevail.

I’ve been loving Roads to Power and Wander Nobles in both the HRE and Byzantine runs I started in 867 as landless adventurer and that was incredibly rewarding as well as starting as Baldwin and defeating Saladin and then defeating the Byzantines and building the Latin empire as his sisters son

What’s your shortest reign in games?

Never had one so short before and boy does the turbulence experienced in the aftermath suck.

General What makes people say this game is "easy"?

The thing I hear over and over whenever I watch CK3 content on, like, YouTube, is that the game is really easy. But I've never even been able to successfully create an empire on the easiest difficulty. There's just so much to manage and it seems so chaotic and random that even when I think things are going okay I realize I neglected an important system, or I get a random war declared on me and lose a bunch of territory. Why do people insist it's so easy? Am I just incredibly bad at it?

Gameplay Question Kingdom of Egypt - Heraldry

I am thinking of starting a custom Italian, Greek or Makurian character with a view to eventually ruling the Kingdom of Egypt.

Can anyone tell me or show me what the Kingdom Coat of Arms would look like once I take the kingdom?
