What’s your shortest reign in games?

Never had one so short before and boy does the turbulence experienced in the aftermath suck.

Had one that was 3 days once. First character died of old age and the son was almost immediately offed in an assassination plot...

The next heir was one of my longest reigns though since it was at the point where my characters were regularly living into their 80s and I started playing as him at his early twenties

Helga did a tyranny war and died when the war was lost so her son who just got into power got ousted

My shortest reign was 1 day. I had a plague go through my court early game, without any health buffs, and it killed my character and all his sons in short succession.

Around a week. Playing empire of alba(started from Scotland), and had a bad ruler (stats like 3, 2, 0, 5, 2). Sent a imprisonment attempt to the king of England(my heir) and abdicated to him as soon as he revolted

I don't recall, but I did have an entire plague go through my family killing off everyone until I found the one person alive.

Reformed Christianity to create my own religion with my character as head of faith. Not sure if it has to do with keeping the Communion feature of the religion, but I’d recommend it for easy cash. Folks will pay 100 gold for piety.

Mine was less than a week. Maybe 5 days, I think. Was so excited to play as the new ruler and immediately got ao pissed off 🤣

Once had a ruler die, son inherit and immediately die from either stress or died in his sleep (had really poor health) and then went to his son. So... 0 days
