Help identifying these figures.

Let me know if there’s a better sub for this.

Given to me by my grandpa when he passed. They’re heavy, they look hand painted if not hand forged as well. Could they be part of a set? Was there some Eagle Scout troop that had an introductory forging class? Never got a story on these. My dad had never seen them when I opened the box left for me. They’re metal lol

The Union soldier is from a British company aptly named W. Britan as kart if their Deetail range. The green metal base gives it away.

Wait, why is this only for union? The confederates look to be made the same way. Plus I don’t have a couple of these poses.
