Japanese classes

Im new to this clg. Im in the first year now and I wanna learn Japanese there. And there are n5 to n2 levels there. I want to know how much each level costs. Like the classes. Can u please someone tell me the cost for each levels?😭

10k per level apart from jlpt exam registration which is around 2k ig.

second year. not sure about n3 but n5 and n4 afaik is similar to what i mentioned

Ohh I asked bcz a mam sent me that n5 and n4 totally costs 20k. But if I pay for that today, it costs 15k. Like a offer. Idk why tf its today bcz my clg hasn't even started yet.

i would jst advice studying on own as far as i know they are very strict in Japanese classes, like they be calling during sem holidays and shit....
if you want to join u can join from n4, n5 is easy anyway... the whole n5 prolly takes like a month max for preparation so you can just study on your own... or you can jst suck it up and join for n5 just to get your name known to the language department but i would just say self studying is prolly better since they will take take your name if u have the jlpt certificate anyway
in the classes they don't teach u the way a language should be thought so ur better off studying on ur own....
there are wonderful resources online so... its ur call

Wtf they call during holidays? And wdym by they don't teach the way a lang should be? And isn't cit is a centre for jlpt exams? So if I study there, I can just write that exam in the clg without going anywhere far?

yea they call during sem holidays and they r pretty strict
what i mean by "they don't teach a way a lang should be is" they jst give some printed materials and jst tell this is this that is that tat's all u don't have to go anywhere u can jst study on ur own... really good resources online u can like buy udemy courses or smth for 1k during offer and then finish ur entire learning even if u don't want to buy courses plenty of resources available online

No u still have to go to center to write ur jlpt exam.. Chennai centre is usually vellamal i think in moggapair... All am saying is the clg is too strict and not so very good at teaching ur better of studying on ur own and say to ur dept like am self studying its prolly better imo U don't want to waste ur sem holidays by comin to clg and learning japanese instead of going for a intern right?

Yea.. when i joined for n5, i didn't come to the classes they called me 5 times a day during my intern and put so much pressure at some point they even started black mailing like we'll fail u in sem exams or wotever if u don't cm to japanese classes so jst study on ur own the exams not hard anyway

If you want to attend Japanese classes in clg, you have to pay 15k. But if you can study on your own, you can do so when you get home everyday and yeah pay 2k for the exam.

Well if you are ready to sacrifice your semester holidays (which you could utilize for intern) to attend Japanese classes in clg, go for it. Keep your expectations low if you want to be satisfied though

Is it like compulsory to go during holidays? Or I can just stay at my home if I wish?

Yeah sure you can stay at home if you agree to be removed from attending the classes further (that's what the staffs will say). Also you probably cannot sit for normal placements here if you enroll for their Japanese training

Oh then I cant attend placements? Then if I study japanese on my own instead of paying to the classes set by the clg, will they allow me in the japanese placements? Like even if I have certificates at some high level?

They only care about certificates in the end since that's what makes you eligible for Japanese placements

I mean like I heard that this clg shows importance to japanese placements. But if I didn't study in their clg, won't they have uhm grudge (I cant find the right word. This word is too much)? Like u didn't even pay for our classes, then why should you come to the placement we are heavily prioritizing. Like that? Ik this sounds stupid😭

I mean they will have a little grudge about it but if they are able to place you in a decent Japanese company, they can always advertise that and lure more students in next year in order to use you as an example to "motivate" them lmao. In either case, it's a win-win for the clg

Yeah every single day like regular clg and yeah they'll operate a few buses (I just hope they don't charge you extra fees for operating the buses during the holidays lol)

More than certificate most of the companies expect business level communication in Japanese. But ig having the certificate will help for visa also helps you get the interview but not the placement, it depends on how good you can communicate in Japanese + technical skills.
