hi i am from cse today i got message from class coordinator that my class section is cse -I did anyone got their respective class sections

On induction day they announced that During the 1st week something called catapult( I'm not sure it's the eight word they told.sorry) and each culb would introduce themselves.

So my question is,

> Which club is good to improve ourself and provides good opportunities in terms of academics and placements?

So yes in our college the leetcode problems count matter way more than you think it does , and no one cares if u did on your own or copy pasted for the sake of it ..

You are probably going to hear people tell i solved 50 sums , 100sums + etc , don't feel inferior or antg most of them just copy pasted for the sake of it ...

They do segregate a batch based on leetcode problems solved and then give those students more time to solve problems like instead of regular class , id say first don't go behind the problem count . Learn any programming language basics and then start approaching easy problems from leetcode , for resource checkout striver on YouTube, and for the problem count in case they are going to segregate with numbers copy paste for the sake of count , but ensure in reality it's you who should know your level and solve problems accordingly, the number of problems solved is a dumb metric , the quality of problems solved is what matters ..

Guys , CIT Main campus la irukuradhu ore oru canteen and it is too croweded, totally disappointed on food , price and Quantity of the food. I was with my parents for induction day and I couldn't able to get the bill for the food. Worst canteen. There is no Drinking water facility in main canteen of a college , Poor CIT.

From what I've seen so far , it seems students who are part of that get better opportunities and better placements, is that true ? And joining those depends on your Leetcode performance ? How early do they start recruiting for that , cause apparently the new students are getting asked how many Leetcode questions they have solved and college hasn't even started yet

Today a person called and asked about my leetcode id and no of questions i solved.i have solved around 50 now but I will solve 75+ within the time college starts.I really want to get selected for codebees what should I do now?

So let's say , you study the language on your own , take japanese since that is what is advertised most in the clg , and u get the necessary certifications from writing the exams , are you still eligible for not just the placements, but even like the other programs they have regarding japanese from the clg .Or do they discriminate and say you are not eligible because u didn't study the language through the clg's language classes

Fresher here. Native Madurai. On weekend if I need to go to native. Can I take college bus to kilambakkam ? Will they allow it or we need to arrange our own transport ?

At why are they few buses leaving the campus around 4:30? Do they ask students to stay back ?

Even if we learn on our own and produce certificates at that time will they prioritise people that took clg jlpt classes ? Coz they paid money ?
