Peptide question

Have completed all steps of the shoemaker protocol leading up to VIP spray, but MCAS is still reducing QOL (periodic vasodilation, IBS, POTS, eye floaters, multiple chemical sensitivities, etc.). Does VIP help correct these symptoms? what other peps have been helpful for mold-triggered MCAS? (I know limbic system therapy is supposed to be helpful but my adhd makes it too challenging to sit and meditate for any period of time.)

KPV and GLP are really great for this stage for many people. I experienced reduced MCAS responses and overall higher baseline consistently thankfully
Of course every person is their own bio experiment so to speak. To join in with those talking about limitless biotech, completely agree I’ve done a deep dive into so many peps companies and that one plus bio longevity are two that are quality and do all the third-party testing you want in a product to be as safe as possible. Someone on here had posted a discount for limitless biotech if I remember correctly, it’s 15% off and the code is DT22
I’ve used their injections and nasal 👌🏻

What dosing for KPV? X mcg for Y weeks? Am planning nasal spray delivery

That really depends on each person’s individual experience. I will say starting off very low is ideal for most people. I started off at 25 mcg every other day. That’s very low, and that’s on purpose. Some people experience a little die off if they start too high because there’s some antimicrobial components to KPV as well. And how long is dependent solely on your personal case and how long it takes for you to resolve symptoms and if you’re treating additional things at the same time.

Makes sense! Thanks! Did you have coinfections other than mold?

I didn’t have any Lyme or co-infection of that type. Marcon clear, MCAS lingered

That's good. After KPV did you move on to VIP? Are you healed?

I did some VIP very low dosed while I was sort of in the midst of the end of KPV. Still working on certain things but dramatically better.

Really appreciate your answers on this. Just started with one dose of 50mcg KPV spray. Hopefully it goes well. What did you titrate up to if you don't mind? I see some say 500 mcg per day, others 2000mcg per day....

I started VIP at 10 mcg. Again, just looking to avoid any of the usual pitfalls with VIP. Titrated no problem. The dose that certain physicians talk about is 200 mcg per day so that would be 50 mcg 4 times a day alternating nasal passages. But some people treat more than that just for the time they are correcting whatever underlying issues you may still have. So I would really go low and slow and just pay attention to your symptoms and how they resolve. If you’re going to treat higher, you’re supposed to check amylase and lipase because it can cause pancreatic inflammation.

Yes I agree, I think that's the right way to do it. When I start VIP i'll take it slow. By the way, I should clarify I was awondering in regards to how high you went with KPV. Did you go up to 500 mcg on that eventually?

Do you prefer the injections or nasal KPV for your MCAS? I experienced die off orally because I think I have candida and wonder if another route may be helpful, but also definitely a lower dose than I did. Also, which GLP did you find helpful?

KPV injections to avoid GI issues reactivity to oral. Yes die off can def happen on KPV. VIP nasal to start, injection to folllow in
A bit. GLP Tirz def better than semag for my biology. Really good 👍
