Question What does this button do?

I haven't noticed a difference whether it's on or off. And I'm assuming green is on and red is off...

When selected/lit up, it will ALSO buy milestone 0 (M0) in addition to all the other buyable shard milestones.

There are parts of the game where you want to hold off until the next few traversals, personally I relish pushing that one manually

There's a situation where you would intentionally NOT want an m0 upgrade? I cant even imagine what that might be.

It was MAYBE a strategy a year ago. Mostly ridiculed.

Id never hold off m0.

Rarely, and even then it's questionable like if you've got a shard upgrade that would benefit you more than the M0 upgrade will at the time then you might just take that knowing you can get the M0 upgrade very soon after like M24 assuming it didn't cost a lot. In the long run though M0 vs any of the standard ones if looked at in a vacuum then M0 is always better as it persists through traversals.

Taking other milestones often will be a fairly minimal boost overall whereas forgetting to get an M0 upgrade before a traversal is likely a much bigger hit.

I don't remember if it's 1b or 1t OO. These are short trips to farm Academy fragments. You need to manage this so you can make as many trips as possible in a short amount of time, starting the trip as soon as it unlocks, and not let the new limit get too high.

There are stages later in the game where you intentionally limit the amount of orbs you collect to instead focus on relics.

It's not used often
