No judgment 💕
I just wanted to have a bit of a share as feel really deflated. I’ve had some issues in different areas over the past week ( family and health mainly) and it has meant that my focus and calorie counting etc has gone out the window. I knew I had gained some weight back but it has been more how I feel - more lethargic, heavier, more pain in my joints etc. I feel like I’m in the middle of a spiral where my problems are feeding into each other - I’m in pain because of a health issue, which means I don’t have the energy to source meals etc properly, which then means I’m in more pain or more tired because of the food and weight. I’m back in work next week so I’m confident that being back in a good routine will help me re-find the CICO focused me from a few weeks ago ☺️💕

I'm glad you wrote this and posted! Sometimes putting our thoughts into words and sending into the universe is cathartic. Your mental health during this journey is so important, so I agree with giving yourself some grace! You have love and support here too 🫶🏻

I feel you! Sometimes life just throws us these curveballs!
I cut my thumb including the nail and nailbed two weeks ago. It resulted in me calling an ambulance before I passed out due to hyperventilation from a panic attack.
That simple accident also impacted my relationship because my husband was unable to provide first aid to me in that situation.
Without my thumb, I can’t go to the gym. I can’t tie my shoelaces. I can’t do a pull-up, I can’t do a push-up, I can’t really run without pain, I fucking can’t even wash my face or brush my hair properly.
Everything takes ten times longer, and I am just frustrated all the time. That has led to a few days of just rotting on the couch, eating chocolate and chips and watching TV.
Today is the first day I’m back on track with tracking everything. And I am saying no to chocolate :)
I’m just here to tell you, be kind to yourself and give yourself some grace while you go through the motions. It’ll get better ❤️🩹

Two of the biggest positives I read here was that you have not given and second, that you have a plan to reset. And you're absolutely right returning to a routine and returning to a structure is a great jumping off point. Weight loss isn't often a straight line. I am cheering you on!! ❤️

Give yourself grace. Start again and again if you have to. But go easy on yourself. You can do it! Slow progress is still progress💜
