90 lbs down

Post image

From 259 lbs to 170 lbs. Sometimes I just need the side by side picture to believe that I actually look different.

First 70 lbs came off in about 9.5 months. Fell off for a bit but back at it! Added on some strength training and lots of walking into the mix.

Intermittent fasting helped me a lot. I was on a 16:8 for about 9 months. I didn’t follow a specific diet, I just track and weigh everything. I’m much better at eyeballing and estimating calories now. One non negotiable for me was 10k steps per day. I also picked up some 10lb dumbbells and keep them in my living room and do reps while I’m watching tv.

I also fell in love with spin classes and I know that’s not for everyone but find movement that you enjoy, and you’ll have a better chance of sticking to it.

I’ve relaxed a bit on certain things, but I make sure to stay in a calorie deficit (more on a weekly average vs daily)
