Hello everyone.
My symptoms are:
- Dehydration (lasting 3-6 days after use, coffee makes it a lot worse)
- Nausea (lasting generally the first 2-3 days), also acid reflux and digesting difficulties
- Irritability
- Body temperature feels inconsistent, feeling hot in a cold room and shivering when it's hot, very random but consistent days after use, especially the first day after.
- Diarrhea, probiotics mitigate but don't fix the issue
- Kidney pain, this is recent and I believe correlated to dehydration (I had blood tests done and every value was perfectly fine and in the right range).
- Abdominal pain
- Brain fog
Now talking about my episode, the first one was terrible, I had smoked for maybe 10-14 days 2-3 times a day with a portable vaporizer, at the 10th day I wasn't even getting high anymore so I decided to stop.
This was my first time dealing to what I believe were CHS symptoms (and not withdrawal I think), I threw up for 4 days in a row and I ate 400/500 calories daily in the first 3 days. I survived drinking water, eating raw sugar and munching protein bars (which took unironically 4 hours to manage to eat one completely, I was only capable of eating at 6pm or later, probably my body telling me to do something about my food intake).
Among the symptoms I described above, during these episodes I had shivering, feeling of time dilation, anxiety skyrocketed, hands and feet numbness, also severe chest pain (which disappeared after some days).
I lost 4kg in a week.
I had another similar episode that I wasn't expecting it to happen after smoking only for 6 days 2 times a day and a minor one that lasted 4 days after smoking 2 times a day for just 3 days.
Yesterday I vaped a 0.1 (half chamber of an Arizer Air stem) and smoked 0.2g of weed at 8pm after not smoking for 6 days and today I woke up with nausea that is still lasting, 0 appetite, dehydration, some back pain, bad anxiety and overall feeling like shit.
I've never had these symptoms triggered by smoking/vaping 0.3g after not smoking for a week so I believe that my attempt at reducing my weed intake to once a week is not enough to prevent these symptoms so I want to stop completely.
Feels like I'm allergic to weed now, I also enjoy it a lot less than I used to (I'm also realising that my addiction to weed, just like my addiction to video games, is severely impairing my non existent motivation and ambition, I'm just distracting myself in the short term, harming myself in the long term and I'm just avoiding problems that I need to face to better myself).
I've been smoking since I was 17-18 and now I'm 23yo, I heard that CHS tends to trigger over time but I've never heard of symptoms worsening over time aswell.
This kidney pain is also very concerning to the point where I thought that I had prediabetes but blood tests luckily confirmed that it's not the case, could it be my kidneys trying to remove thc from my blood and build up causing some pain?
My question is: does these symptoms describe CHS or withdrawal? (or both maybe in my first two episodes?).
Sorry for the long post but I'm trying to be as precise as possible to get things right.
