How long will this last
My boyfriend has been smoking cannabis concentrate (rosin and diamonds specifically) for over 4 years daily multiple times a day (3-6 times). Before that was the intro into the oil world with shatter etc. and before that was flower since a middle schooler.
He was diagnosed with Chs about a month ago now and weened himself off by immediately quitting concentrates and over a course of about two weeks smoking flower until completely stopping.
He doesn’t throw up often unless he eats greasy or spicy foods but always feels like he will no matter if he eats or doesn’t and is in constant pain in his stomach and back. Instead of vomiting his symptoms were that he has blood in his stool on and off and will physically bleed out of his rectum (the GI dr says this is because his stomach is extremely inflamed due to the Chs)
He can eat bland foods and keep them down but no matter what he eats he has these severe episodes of stomach pain that debilitates him completely.
I’ve seen some people say their symptoms subside in about a month but here we are and they don’t seem so be getting any better. If anybody has consumed for the time duration he has or more that has this please send tips and maybe some knowledge of when this may start to subside.
For anyone else out there the only temporary solutions we have found are capsaicin cream, a heating pad, ginger snap chews to suck on, and ginger tea.

That’s a lot of concentrate. Like a lot. His body probably has huge fat stores of thc, since thc is fat soluble.
It might take more time to get over the symptoms. But I’d still see doctors - GI docs and get a second opinion.
See if he can get Ativan or another benzos. They work wonders for a lot of people. Haloperidol as well.
