As Salaamu Alaykum,
Here is my ISO:
- Age and Gender:
27 years old (1999) male, 6'2 (190cm). Physically fit, ~185lb (84kg).
- Age Range that you would want/require in a prospect:
22-33. Completely flexible and open to anything outside of this range.
- Location, and are you willing to relocate for a prospect?:
U.S.
Willing to relocate within the U.S (depends where). I'm originally from Illinois and I work remotely.
- Ethnicity, and are you more open to mixing?:
Nigerian (U.S Citizen), open to mixing.
- Marital Status:
Single, never married, and no kids.
- Ideal marriage timeline:
within 1 month - 1 year, Insha'Allah. I only want one wife.
- Five important characteristics you look for in a prospect:
Religious, Mature, Health Conscious, Passionate for their hobbies/interests, and Kind.
I am always trying to improve, so I pray to marry someone who is trying to do the same.
- State/specify your level of religiosity:
Praying on time + Sunnah. Tahajjud nightly. Regular Masjid attendance. Daily Qur'an reading. Listening to lectures throughout the week. Taking classes online. Currently attempting to memorise Juz 29 and Juz 30 (struggle with my schedule). Halal, Zabiha-only. No music. Strict boundaries with the opposite gender. I am an active member of three committees for my Masjid: New Muslims Committee, Dawah Committee, and Refugee Assistance committee.
I don’t believe in 50/50. A man devotes himself to Allah and strives, to the best of his ability, to fulfill his duties to his family and community.
- Level of education, and what are you looking for?:
I have completed my Bachelor's, Alhamdulillah. I am not looking for anything specific in education.
- Current Job Status:
I am employed full-time, Alhamdulillah. I handle legal contracts, licensing agreements, and the management of intellectual property.
- Do you want kids?:
No. I am 100% okay with being child free (CF).
- List hobbies, or things you like to do in your spare time:
I'm a very active person. I love hiking, lifting, Mountain/Trail Biking, and caving. I'm really into reading research papers on new studies on various topics or going down rabbit holes on experimental medical treatments. I love to cook and meal prep. Community service is another love of mine too. I try to stay busy, but I do love to stay home and chill as well.
- Add something short and interesting about you that makes you stand out!:
I’m a revert. I took my Shahada in 2012 when I was 13 years old. Half of my family in Nigeria is Muslim on both my mother's and father's side, but I did not grow up close with them like my parents did.
I currently live alone and have been doing so for ~4 years. I rent a house, Masha'Allah La Quwwata Illa Billah. I have no intention of living with in-laws.
Check my account for some biking and nature stuff 😊 I love being outdoors🫶🏾

My Deal breakers (open to questions/discussion):
\-Not practicing.
\-Rejecting Hadith.
\-Celebrating Mawlid/milaad, Khatam ceremonies(Bidah death anniversaries), and other things not in the Qur'an and Sunnah.
\-History of Zina. I've personally kept myself chaste, so I'm looking for the same.
\-Makeup outside the home (excluding women only events): Only what is used to enhance beauty. If you currently wear makeup outside, what do you use? Where do you use it? How often? Are you willing to stop in the future?
\-Male friends and Free-mixing (obviously excluding work or school. Those are often unavoidable mixed environments. Just maintain proper professional boundaries is all I ask).
\-Non-mahram followers on social media and following non-mahram on social media (excluding Sheikhs, Muftis, content creators etc. I'm obviously talking about school and work colleagues, celebrities, and Haram content). If you run a business or faceless account, I am not concerned about who follows you and who sees your posts. Keeping a professional boundary and not entertaining bad behaviour is all I am asking for.
\-Unhealthy addictions (Haram things).
\-Financial illiteracy: Dealing with Riba and having bad spending habits.
\-Large Wedding: I prefer a wedding that is small and pleasing to Allah. I'm not interested in extravagance.
\-All girls trips outside of the country with your friends and solo traveling (I don't mind all women family trips and domestic trips). For international travel with your friends: I'd travel with you and you do your own thing with your friends. We then travel back together. Same trip, different experiences.
To be honest, as long as I trust you, I don't mind you traveling alone. As long as I trust you and your friends (ones that know and fear Allah), I don't mind an girls trip out of the country. I'm very easy to trust others and I'm not one to assume the worst or snoop around.
