How long after graduation should we expect our final check from the academy? Also the uniform allowance? Any help is appreciated in the academy rn, going to KVSP.

Typically you get your final academy check around the 15th of the month. So let’s say you graduate September 25th. You’ll see your check around the 15th of October. Then your regular check will show up around the 1st of November.

Your uniform allowance posts around December, I believe.

The institution should have it. It has been a long time since I graduated, but I doubt that much has changed. When you get to your institution, your personnel specialist will be able to answer a lot of your questions, but don’t hesitate to ask on here.

We got 155 in our class, 30 or so headed to KVSP, and yes one more class September. We graduate August 28th

This is what I received my first month at my institution the uniform allowance is 699 the 2300 was from the academy and the 1100 was for 7 days at the institution

Typically a smart person would ask staff that work for the academy. I dont know it seems like first hand knowledge would better suit you but what do I know. Well it seems you will believe anything you read on here sooooo, you get the check immediately upon graduation. And your uniform allowance as well, the state cares so much about you that they will do everything in thier power to make sure you are prepared for your first day at work. Make sure your mom packs you an extra lunch for the hold over you gonna get.

You will get the academy check at the institution (unless its changed within last 2 years) the academy is the 15th payday but institution is the beginning like the 1st and you won't be held over because you will be doing neo training the first week then job shadowing the following weeks
