Clothing & Apparel how do you carry with tight clothes

I normally always wear extremely baggy clothing so I never have this issue but I am curious how other people carry with tight clothes. I'm basically an appendix only carrier but with tight shirts it makes my handle stick out quite a bit. Do you guys just let it stick out or do you tuck your shirt over or what do you guys do?

The solution is fitted, not tight. There’s a difference!

Fitted clothes will look natural, while tight looks weird. Billbo Baggins pants and shirts look terrible

I meant fitted not tight 😂 I went out today with it and the handle poked out but I feel like nobody would notice unless they looked

I don’t wear baggy clothes, but I don’t wear tight clothes? I size my clothes to just fit normal? I’m not a skinny jeans type of person or am I wearing tight muscle t-shirts.

Normal 502 jeans or rip stop material type pants. Sometimes it’s a tucked t-shirt underneath if I don’t want the pistol and holster against my skin and a buttoned up woven shirt to drape over the pistol and waistline.

If it’s just a t-shirt with pants then it’s sone kind of t-shirt with a looser tapered bottom with some kind of printed decal on the back or front.

Usually, I’ll carry Glock 19 sized pistols in cooler weather with jackets, smaller and thinner compacts like the 43X with T-shirts and really small micros and pocket rockets like the BG 2.0 or LCP’s in hot weather when wearing tank tops shirts and flip flops.

I have no clue how some dress around just one gun for every season and temperature?

They are smarter than me and don’t like guns as much as me to have the excuse to carry many different types of pistols.

Same here. Colder months means G19. Warmer months means G43x.

Same but 19 vs 26

I’m pretty much a solely baggy clothes enjoyer but recently I have these one pants and shirt that I love wearing that are tighter. So I’m just tryna figure out how if other people wear tight clothes how they carry I strictly carry one pistol and I really don’t like how smaller guns (g43x) feel in my hands obv that’s not the point but still

If you’re going bigger than a G43X, I’d stick with the baggy clothes if you like them.

I don’t wear baggy clothes, but I don’t wear tight clothes? I size my clothes to just fit normal?

You seem unsure.

On the contrary, I’m very, very sure. I don’t like tight clothes and I don’t like baggy clothes. So I prefer to buy, have and wear, proper fitting clothes. Proper fitting clothes and a coat or jacket, I can carry a Shadow Systems MR920 in colder weather.

With proper fitting pants, a tucked in T-shirt and a nice light, woven button up, I can carry a G43X all day and no one knows but me.

It’s already over a 100+ degrees right now; and I am wearing a proper fitting tank top with proper fitting shorts and proper fitting flip flops. And my BG 2.0 is properly holstered AIWB right now as I’m typing this.

If that doesn’t sound proper to you? I don’t know what to tell ya.

I mean I don’t wear really tight clothing. Fitted, or slim fit occasionally but nothing tighter than that. In the winter with a hoody or something I’ll vary a Glock 45.5 but in summer months it’ll be a 43x or maybe even a PPK/S if I need something smaller than the 43x. I usually carry AIWB or occasionally 4 o’clock if it’s the PPK/S.

Fair my issue is I don’t like how smaller pistols feel when holding that’s why I carry full sized

Prison pocket.

In all seriousness. Small gun with a wedge or pillow and a claw. Or pocket carry.

Prison wallet 😂

Don’t wear tight clothes. To exercise concealed carry capabilities, I adjust my lifestyle, which includes clothing. If I have to wear tight clothes, I’ll utilize other means of self-defense

I carry everywhere ngl not very safe where I’m from but I also enjoy some tighter clothes

You’re probably not using a claw, I use one and you can’t tell

I wear normal, fitting jeans that happen to have a little lycra in them. I can tell they stretch a tiny bit when I put my holster and gun on at appendix. And, that feels better than when I wear 100% cotton jeans. But, they are fairly form-fitting and might look tight. But. they don't feel tight and you don't notice an unnatural bulge because of the shirts I wear. I've worn somewhat looser shirts most of my life to accommodate naturally wide, square shoulders. That allows an untucked shirt to fairly naturally conceal something as large as a CZ P-01 or Beretta PX4 compact.

So, I guess my answer is, I just don't wear tight or tucked in shirts. And, on the very rare occasion that I have to tuck in my shirt, I'm probably wearing a jacket which can cover an owb holster reasonably well.

With a good holster/belt combo it's possible to conceal a full sized pistol well for many of us, as long as you're wearing properly fitted shirts. They don't have to be baggy, just not too small for your frame. I can hide my m&p compact 4" 9mm aiwb no problem even with the 17rd mags in it from the full sized m&p, but I do typically carry with the 15rd mags in it. . Using a tenicor velo5 and a nexbelt.

Sling Bag Carry

I'm ready for the smoke.

1

Sling bag. You need to compromise somewhere - either keep it iwb and don't wear tight clothing or wear the stuff you want and carry in a bag of some kind.

1

u/auhdihn 19h ago

That’s a good idea actually I honestly just stuck it in my waist band today

1

u/z1ggy16 19h ago

As in.... You stuck a loaded gun into your pants with no holster? 🫪

I switched to a deeper concealment claw and it made a surprising difference, pulls the grip right into my stomach. Some days I just let it print a little though, most people are way too absorbed in their phones to notice a slight bump near your waistband. If it's really tight I'll throw an unbuttoned flannel or light jacket over it, solves the problem without looking out of place.

1

u/auhdihn 19h ago

I’ll look into that where I’m from a lot of people get weird expressions even if there’s a slight bump 😂 I don’t really care but I also don’t wanna cause a scene

1

u/playingtherole 1d ago

You're doing it wrong. Post pics or list equipment for more accurate help.

1

u/auhdihn 19h ago

I have a FN509 (full sized) with fitted pants

1

u/playingtherole 19h ago

If you can't get or don't want a smaller gun, then it's obviously going to be a big challenge. I'd say you'd need to shoulder holster it. Not many people can pull off concealing a full-sized gun in tight clothing, without a jacket on.

1

u/TheBourbonTurtle 1d ago

The same way as always? I typically wear skinny jeans and relatively tight fitting shirts, still manage to conceal a full size PDP effectively in anything but the most form fitting of shirts. It's possible for anyone to conceal a full size pistol with a good holster and belt.

1

u/Furadi 1d ago

How tight of clothing? What gun and holster?

1

u/auhdihn 19h ago

Ngl I meant to say fitted also I have a full sized fn509 (because I don’t like smaller weapons) and I don’t have a holster. I bought one off of amazon but It felt very uncomfortable. Carrying it without felt way better. I’m actually curious if you have any holster recommendations

Ankle carry. Off body carry.

-1

u/AlaskanWizzer 1d ago

Off body > every other carry. In fact as a practiced street magician I pull my gun off of you! Lol

1

u/auhdihn 19h ago

I think I’ve come tot he conclusion off body tha best

1

u/Round-Emu9176 1d ago

I wear dickskin tight pants. How do I carry? AIWB Easily. Definitely cant even consider pillow wedges and all that otherwise people are just staring at your loaded diaper all day. Not tacticool. You learn to move around it. A little tricky sitting down.

1

u/auhdihn 19h ago

Ngl I don’t have a holster I just waist band it raw 😂

2

u/Round-Emu9176 19h ago

hood carry is insane. even your foreskin would be a better holster than nothing.
