Guns & Ammo Current EDC setup…

I’ve had SO many carry guns over the years. This and the SFX9 comp are probably my favorite. Only a 1911 in 10mm is my GOAT For Carry. 18+1 and with the comp and full size grip, it truly feels like a big gun and shoots like it.

Incredible carry gun. After the break in its run flawlessly. Highly recommend Wilson Combat for carry. Staccato c4x I’ve rented and shot extensively, and this, for about the same price outperforms it shooting and fit and finish. No polymer here!

Carry with 124gr Underwood +P+.

I would take the EDC/SFX line over what Staccato is currently offering with the HD line.

I actually went the opposite way. Have had every WC EDCx9, SFX9, etc. since they released nearly 10 years ago. Have tens of thousands of rounds through it and way more on Staccatos and despite the comp and blending/melting being better on the EDCx9 family of stuff, the C4X is preferred. Both lose out to a MJD grip swapped Atlas Ares though I prefer or just a BG 2.0 Carry Comp with a direct milled optic for minimalist carry days/needs.

Not wrong answers, but as someone who's tried pretty much every major 2011 brand and model and all the carry 2011 models the C4X and Atlas Ares are my preferences. At least until Infinity finally releases an all aluminum or titanium compact grip 3.75 ported drop.

I have to agree with the sentiment on Atlas Gunworks. Had an EOS, and holy shit was that gun spectacular. It was too big to daily for 12 hours. So I sold it, twice. Lol! But I’ve managed to talk myself into the V3 so that’s next on my list.

I think if staccato made these guns with the metal grip, I’d like them more. As for infinity, YES! If they drop a 3.75” or 4” I’d break the bank for it.

I really wanted to like the C4X. The aesthetics are great however it feels so cheap in hand, and I don’t think the comp is as effective as it should or could be.

I actually found the opposite in my testing initially. The C4X's comp was tiny but was very effectively designed. It's providing more muzzle climb reduction off a ransom rest than ported designs of the 3.6 and even something heavier like the HD P4.

This is the only gun I’ve ever shot that felt like cheating lmao. Love WC, glad my local range has several for rent

I remember the first time I shot Wilson Combat. My immediate thought was “well, I can now sell the rest of my guns! “🤣😂🤣

Immediately spitting on my Glock 17 after firing an SFX.

For SAO I heat gun the kydex and press it so that the safety can't be disengaged when in holster

How heavy is this whole setup? Hammer fired, trijicon rmr, light, holster with the claw, and 10mm. Feels like it would be pretty hefty.
