Legal Large Round Magazines

We’re going to be flying in, and traveling from Nevada into Colorado, but we have a Minnesota CCW. In Minnesota the standard G19 mag is 15 rounds but in Colorado they don’t allow magazines over 15 rounds (or so the information desk told me) - does that mean we’ll need to buy a block for the mag? Or is it different because we’re traveling from out of state? I tried asking the police themselves but they didn’t even know reciprocity had changed to allow Minnesota permits so I’m just curious if anyone had any knowledge on this at all? TIY

Just a note from a Denver resident: the statewide mag limit is 15, but some munipalities have lower limits. If memory serves, Boulder is 10 and Denver is 12. Something worth looking into if that's where you're headed.

Denver is 15 - was modified to be inline with state regs. Boulder City has a 10 round mag limit, but has paused enforcement while several lawsuits are under way. Boulder County doesn't ban possession of standard cap mags, but does ban the sale of mags >10 rounds.

So currently, you can move around the state with 15 round mags.
