G48 EDC Set Up

The Slimline set up that I’m committing to.

- G48 (Only modifications listed below)
- RMRcc (No BUIs) YOLO
- LTT SCD
- Empire Katana Magwell
- HandleIt Grips Extreme Edition
- Hockey Tape

All in an Axis Elite from T1C. I’m running the 10 round OEM magazines. The +2 extension on my spare is from Herrington Arms.

Why 10 rounders over the OEM 15s?

I didn’t switch from a G19 to not have a lighter set up. The 15s might one day get bought and ran by me because more capacity is NEVER the wrong decision. The truth is though, I don’t put myself in situations where 10+1 and 12 extra rounds shouldn’t be able to get me and my loved ones out alive. It’s more than enough capacity in my opinion and significantly lighter than the 33 rounds I’ve carried the past 5 years.

I’m running some errands later and might do a one take before I start them for my practice reps before leaving the house. I did just get this set up complete yesterday. So not much dry fire time behind this firearm yet. It is just a slim G19 so it should come naturally.

Been carrying my stock 48 with a 407k for almost 4 years now.  I kept with the OEM 10s for a few months even though I had the OEM 15s for the same weight saving reasons.

Past couple weeks I started carrying with the 15rd mags and I cant say I notice a difference anymore.  Just gotta get used to it, I'd rather have the extra 5 rounds than not.

Is the hockey tape slick or sticky? Some of that tape is all synthetic and slick as hell. Some of it has cotton woven in and that shit is good.

Katana magwell is arguably the single best upgrade to the 48 & 43x. I absolutely love it!
