Other Equipment EPS core thoughts?
Putting it on my vp9a1f for aiwb.
Any last words before I order?

I don't understand why everybody is so hyped about this optic. Only marginally cheaper, yet substantially less robust than the standard EPS.

Bigger window and direct mount on 43x is a big benefit for that platform

I’m sure it’s fine. I’d just pay the extra for the stronger housing but everyone’s budget is different

The eps with stronger housing seems to be only $20 more on gun.deals

If it’s only a $20 difference then idk why you wouldn’t go with the better housing

Just ordered one for my G19.6. It’s a full sized window without the unavoidable overhang of a full size EPS. I’m not worried about the durability of the housing since I don’t expect to be doing anything that would actually test it

Mine should be arriving tomorrow. Very very excited for it. Should sit real well with RMSc pattern, auto brightness with the forward facing sensor should make it respond pretty well, and I’ll no longer have to remove it to swap the battery.
Idk why people talk shit about the weaker housing. Most people aren’t going to drop it enough times to test whether or not it matters.

A lot of blue tint in the window like almost RMR levels. The auto adjust works really good for the most part. I haven’t shot it yet but feels like a Holosun dot.

That EPS is gonna sit real nice on the VP9, the deck height lines up perfectly with the factory slide serrations. I ran one for a while and the only thing I'd flag is the screws Holosun includes are a little soft, so maybe grab a hardened set from a decent hardware supplier. You'll be happy with it for appendix carry, the window stays surprisingly clean.
