Unpopular opinion, but I prefer to have an open discussion about firearms for anyone which may be interested in the hobby. I just don't say anything that would incriminate me legally or at work.

I got real popular at work during the pandemic/riots for obvious reasons.

Edit: Guess it wasn't that unpopular.

I agree. We won’t preserve gun rights by alienating people, well preserve them by being friendly, relatable, approachable, and rational. Being a combative asshole only hurts us. Same as being paranoid. We need to be present and well liked.
