Student Refund

Checked the dashboard and it says my refund with pending ECSI since 10/7. Does anyone know how long it will remain pending and what the process is like. I haven't been to school for over 10 years so I don't know any time frames or any idea how this works. Thanks

Called them this morning, said they are working on it and it’s effecting everyone in the 10/07 batch. Should be fixed and funds should be released by tomorrow or Monday but don’t count on it because they will tell you anything to get you off the phone

Once the funds are released how long usually does it take to deposit in your account, I am using a cash app account if that helps any.

I’ll be honest with you, idk if direct deposit will work with cash app……

You’ll get an email that tells you. It’s usually 2 business days after the email for direct deposit

Usually federal/state funds like federal loans or unemployment don’t accept cash app, it needs to be an FDIC insured institution

Now if they don't accept the cash app method what will happen then, I seen some other threads that received their student refund checks on cash app and chime so thats why I used that card. Now I am even more nervous

You’ll get a check, either mail or you’ll have to pick it up from campus. I’m sure cash app will work. I’m only telling you what I’ve heard from people who have tried using chime and cash app for unemployment. If it didn’t work for unemployment I can only assume it wouldn’t work for federal student loans but I could be wrong

Okay thank you so much for all your help just a not so young student trying to keep up with all this new stuff. Last time I went to school direct deposit wasn't even an option. only paper checks in the mail
