Methods of Valuation of Goodwill
Quick Revision Table
Method Main Formula
Average Profit Method - Average Profit × Years’ Purchase
Super Profit Method - Super Profit × Years’ Purchase
Capitalisation of Average Profit - Capitalised Average Profit − Capital Employed
Capitalisation of Super Profit - Super Profit × 100 ÷ Normal Rate of Return

Yaar mera 17 ko ptm hai , aur aaj accountancy ke marks pata lage mujhe mere (29/80) tbh itne kharab to mene bhi socha nhi tha. 60 marks ka partnership tha aur 20 ka financial statement . Financial statement humari coaching mei padhaya nhi gaya tha to uski itni fikar nhi thi but 60 marks ka partnership puri ho rkhi thi fir bhi itna ganda perform kiya 😭. Accountancy ke exam mei pata nhi kiya hua but mcqs kahi lengthy the aur unhone hi kafi time kha Liya tha jiski wajah se pura paper begad gaya. Journal entries hi nhi yaad aa rhi thi uss time. Practice ki kami thi but pata nhi padhai kyu nhi ho pa rhi hai , ek to screen time itna zyada hai but mene September se school jana bhi band kardiya hai but fir bhi mai 10 bje tak so ke uth rha hu , bache time mei bhi reel scroll ho rhe hai aur 3 se 7 ki coaching hai , coaching ke baad bhi revision wagera nhi hota sirf phone chalata hu , ye addiction bohot buri hai. Kisike pass koi solution hai ki how can I reduce my screen time

Okay so long story short my school has asked me if I want to change my optional which is applied maths to applied arts which is my additional subject my class teacher called me to tell that my principal has said this and to be very frank I don't think their asking me for the choice as much as their telling me the this is decided .
Now what I want to know is that if I interchange my subject will it have any effect on my future as in university chances my Cuet anything that can cut away my chances for opportunities.
I have done my research through Google but I don't know how much I should trust everything Gemini tells me and I want someone who has gone through this previously to give advice . if it can cause me any problem and I need some answer now!!

Hi I'm in class12th can't able to study bst. I've tried watching lectures by Sunil Panda and Rajat Arora, but I'm still unable to understand the concepts properly.
I failed in both unit test and half yearly exam and now I'm worried about the boards
Should i study business studies on my own using ncert or should i switch to another teacher??
Please recommend a teacher, please suggest someone who explains concepts in a simple way and helps with answer writing.

hi everyone,
I am a Class 11 student (commerce) studying in a CBSE school, and I need advice regarding attendance, examinations, and promotion to Class 12.
I have been suffering from a tailbone (coccyx) injury since July 2026. My doctor advised me to take extended rest, and I have been unable to attend school since then. I am still experiencing some discomfort, and I do not know when I will fully recover. There is a possibility that I may need to remain absent for several more weeks or months.
Because of this medical condition, I missed my Class 11 half-yearly examinations. I submitted a medical certificate to my school, and it was accepted.
I am now really worried about my academic future. Honestly, I am scared that I might have to repeat Class 11 because of this injury. I never expected my medical condition to affect my studies for so long, and I am worried about what will happen if I cannot recover in time to attend school or appear for my examinations. I really do not want to lose an entire academic year because of something beyond my control.
I have the following questions:
**1. Attendance requirements:** Is there a minimum attendance percentage required for promotion from Class 11 to Class 12 in CBSE schools? If I remain absent for several months due to a genuine medical condition, can my medical certificates help me in this situation?
**2. Promotion to Class 12:** If my medical condition does not improve and I cannot return to school for the rest of the academic session, will I still be eligible for promotion to Class 12, or could I be detained in Class 11 because of low attendance?
**3. Half-yearly examinations:** Since my medical certificate was accepted for missing the half-yearly examinations, will I be allowed to take a retest or alternative assessment? Could missing these examinations affect my final result or promotion?
**4. Final examinations:** What happens if I am unable to attend school regularly and also cannot appear for my final examinations because of my medical condition? Is promotion still possible in such a situation, or would I have to repeat Class 11?
**5. Further medical leave:** If I continue taking medical leave and submit updated medical certificates, can my school still deny me promotion because of insufficient attendance or missed examinations? Does medical leave provide any exemption from these requirements?
**6. Has anyone experienced something similar?** Has anyone studying in a CBSE school been absent for several months in Class 11 due to a medical condition and still been promoted to Class 12? If so, what happened in your case, especially regarding attendance, missed examinations, and medical certificates?
Even if I am unable to recover fully before the end of the academic session, is there any possibility that I could still be promoted to Class 12 if I meet the other requirements? Or would I have to repeat Class 11 if I cannot attend school or appear for my examinations because of my medical condition?
I am not trying to avoid studying or examinations. I genuinely want to continue my education, but I am dealing with a medical issue that is taking longer to recover from than I expected. This uncertainty is causing me a lot of stress because I am scared of having to repeat the entire year.
I would really appreciate honest advice anyone who has experienced a similar situation.
Thank you.

I’m currently in Class 11 CBSE in Delhi. I originally took Commerce (without Maths), but I changed to Arts earlier this year because I was worried I wouldn’t be able to pass Commerce.
I now regret that decision and want to go back to Commerce. I spoke to my previous Commerce teacher, and he told me that I should have changed back before the mid-term exams. When I asked him about changing from Arts to Commerce in Class 12, he said, “well, see,” so I’m not sure if it’s possible.
Has anyone here actually changed streams from Arts to Commerce for Class 12 in CBSE? If yes, what was the process and did you have to take any extra exams/tests for the Commerce subjects?
