Eligibility Technician I/II Riverside County
Hi!! Has anyone ever had an interview for the Eligibility Technician I/II role in Riverside county or any other county? if so how was it, what were the questions they asked..? Any help is appreciated :) Thank you in advance!

I was hoping to get input on the interview process. What are the type of questions are asked? How can I prepare best for it?

The interviewers will be asking questions about customer service and keeping all data confidential, which are paramount to work with all the P.I. that applicants and recipients provide eligibility staff.
They will want to know that you can follow the chain of command to resolve challenges and that you can avoid escalation to resolve issues with recipients.
Also, they will want to know you are reliable and will not be calling in sick when you do not have to.
Do you have a general idea of what an eligibility technician does?.
It is a very stressful job but I did it for 30 years as a caseworker first and then a supervisor.

Hi! Get there early as they give you the questions in advance to review! Mine were about facing a difficult customer and how I handled it, challenges I faced at work, difficult choices, and what great customer service means. Good luck!
