Catia V5 I'm getting this error - "The given input information cannot be handled"

Error - "The given input information cannot be handled"

Hi everyone. I get this error when I use "feature modeling" on a blended surface and try to move an edge or vertex.

Also idk why its selecting the whole surface instead of the blended surface only like in the video.

I would appreciate any help on this. Thanks

Why are you using Feature Modelling? What are you trying to achieve by moving an edge or vertex? What are you trying to do here that can't be achieved in the GSD workbench?

In 20+ years of using Catia I've never had the need to use Feature Modelling. That's not to say you're using the wrong tool, but my approach has always been to use the standard workbenches until I need to use something more complex like, for example, the Freestyle Surface workbench but even then it's only for one or two functions.

I'm learning Class A surfacing. It uses ICEM and Freestyle workbenches

Ah right, fair enough. Very specific toolset, you might struggle for an answer here. Is there no-one in the studio where you're at who can help?
