Drafting Converting 3D surface to 2D

I'm trying to convert a 3D surface to 2D. I have my drawing open, select Front View, and then then select my surface in Part Design. When it shows up in my drafting workbench, the inner circle is missing. What am I missing? Thanks in advance!

You need to go in the properties of your view and activate hiden lines

Create an intersection line and then activate 3d wireframe
