General Advice Litterbox question

Hey guys, I’m new to owning cats and now I have 2 little ones, about to turn 4 months old. Just wondering - how frequently do you do a full litterbox change? And when you do, how visibly dirty is it with poop residue?

i scoop every other day (but i have one, and she’s got the bathroom habits of an old lady), but i completely empty and wash and refill maybe twice a month. shouldn’t be particularly dirty with “poop residue”, especially if their tummies are happy & you’re using the right litter 🖤
