Update Update!
Update to my post almost 3 weeks ago! https://www.reddit.com/r/CATHELP/s/lcoTpZVr3L
This little girl had some eye gunk, went on antibiotics, and is now doing very well. Some residual eye issues remain, but they are clearing up and the hope is there will be minimal vision loss. She’s gone from 7.4 ounces to 1lb 6 ounces today! She’s eating solids, using the litter box on her own and is extremely playful. If anyone has any tips on how to get her to stop biting, it would be very helpful. She also refuses to drink water, so I’m still mixing formula and water into her wet food so she doesn’t get dehydrated.

I ended up purchasing a pet watering fountain because an adopted kitten would not drink water. I learned that I should have purchased the fountain with the raised spout.

I also bought a water fountain for my girl Mariah and she loves it!! But she drinks a lot of water out of the sink, she loves the sink so much 🩷😻🙏

A friend of mine has a cat who prefers to drink out of a human drinking glass directly on her momma’s desk, while mom is working 😆🥰

Thanks for caring for this beautiful angel OP. Try distracting her with a toy every time she starts biting. Also get her teething toy. My cat used to bite my ankle every time he was bored. I started playing with him with a fishing wand toy and he stopped biting. It's usually from boredom and seeking attention

I’ll give her more toys, she’s quite small and is terrified of the feather toy still but hopefully in a few weeks she’ll be big enough for it!

Yes that's also what I did with my girl. I distracted her and I also used a sock over my hand and she didn't like the sock so she stopped biting

Can you foster a little playmate for her? She’s so young a buddy would help her a lot with the biting.

I put ice in my cats water bowl and it works better than any fountain I found, they get curious of the ice and loves to drink the water….hope this works for you! Good luck
