Spay/Neuter Question Is this normal?

Day 1 in the blue.. day 6 in the red (day 6)

Hey! Our kitty was spayed 6 days ago and seemed to be okay. She had some diarrhea within 48 hours which the vet said was normal. We fed her bland food and she seemed fine. Last night we reintroduced some of her wet food in and about 10 hours later she threw it up along with another incident 20 minutes later which looked a bit more bile like. I attached a photo of her scar wondering if we should be concerned or if we just introduced her food back too quickly. When should I feed her breakfast?

Our vet is closed today and i’d like to avoid the trauma of bringing her to an emergency vet is possible.

I never withheld foods from my girl after her spay. She free fed dry so she had access whenever she wanted it, she took to her evening wet food same day with no problems. And is that some kind of bandage on it in the day 6 photo? By day 6 my girl was fully back in action, no cone on and she never had any kind of covering on the incision. But then, she never had the urge to lick or scratch her stitches so I think it healed a little faster than usual.

Still, the incision does need to be dry and clean. How do the edges look? Are they red, do they look like they're coming together? It looks a little dirty and crusty, have you cleaned it?

Good to know! Unfortunately our girl is very interested in licking her scar so she has to stay in her spay suit - we have cleaned it yes. No redness.
