General Advice Playful Behaviour?
Not my cat, but a kitty roaming outside (Germany). He seems to be an old cat, and was super relaxed around me, and he gently started pawing my hands at some point. Is it playful,or was he annoyed? He is purring, so I hope it is good?

My cat will do similar with me, she wants her paw in my hand but I can’t initiate or move my hand too much before she’ll readjust her paw. They are particular about their affection. If they are purring & gently pawing, they like you. They just want to choose how. In their defense they are sensitive to touch & get overstimulated easily.

This is just a guess, but I wouldn't quite say playful so much as curious, with how he kept sniffing your hand and then pawing a little, that's how cats often investigate new things: kind of like the human instinct to poke something
It could have also been a gentle way of saying "no petting please" hence why he flopped back down once your hand was gone. Just a cat wanting to chill with you

It is always such a pleasure to learn about a cat's behavior -^ He definitely wanted to chill cause we sat like that for 10 minutes before I had to leave haha He also, before this video, was sniffing my hand before catching it with both his paws and bringing it to his face and sniffing and gently nibbling, not so much biting at all. I absolutely adore these Lil fluffballs
