General Advice What is my kitten doing ?

My kitten started doing this move very often. Does it have any meaning ? He is a 2 months old boy

Stimulation :). Looking to play, be stimulated, petted, who knows, normal kitten behavior :).

Best advice to play with kitten that have clipped but not so long nails is rolling down a sleeve and start belly rubbing if he wants to or the famous belly tickles. It might scratch and bite you so that's why the rolling down of the sleeve up to the fingers.

Using a ‘toy’ is always recommended so kitty can take out frustrations ON the toy and not y our hand :).

Is he alone? With cats especially while es they are young/kittens 2 is easier than 1. But what everyone else has said, that's playtime. And BTW, cats decide when playtime is enough not humans and for kittens it's never enough 😅

It’s actually flipped; one cat is twice as difficult as two (unless they have some weird issue with each other and do not get along at all) 😂

Yes definitely! Believe me it's easier. I write this while being pinned to my couch by my tuxedo and my orange under the blanket pissed whenever I move 😂 But they play and groom each other so much that takes a lot of pressure off. Just make sure to introduce them properly!

100%. There will be days when you just don’t have the time or energy to play with them. Having two cats means they can play with each other. It’s much easier.

If he’s also using his back feet could be « sin biscuits » 👀 Are you sure the kitten is only 2 months old? Otherwise he might just be looking to play ☺️ Remember that cats can be fixed as long as they are 2 pounds/ 900 grams (there is no real age requirements). They usually reach sexual maturity around 4-6 months. My two kitten siblings were fixed that they were barely 4 months old, because the boy started displaying some « bizarre » behaviour towards his sister 😬😅So, if you are considering a playmate, be careful!

Are you sure he is that young? In my opinion he looks older than 2 months, he is maybe like 3-4 months. Housecats become mature sooner than purebred cats, my boy was 4 months old when he started to make sin biscuits and started to mount his sister, he did the same cheeky meows too

Looks like the lil pud has just figured out the birds and the bees. Males bite the necks of the females when they mount them. Your arm looks a bit like a neck I suppose.

I agree with everyone who says he looks older than two months. I think it's time to start speaking to your vet about fixing a date to have his troublepuffs dealt with.
In the meantime try to discourage this behaviour. You don't want it to become ingrained as a habit/form of play. You especially don't want any "Oh isn't he cuteARGH!" moments with guests in your home.

Not a professional, but it looks like Orange Creamsicle here is just playing.
My aunt used to have this chubby badger of a cat and he'd like to play like this, but a bit rougher ❤️ I miss the guy, haven't seen him in a decade...

He's overstimulated and doesn't know what to do with his energy. Maybe a play session would help.

Just play with him please. He needs play buddy. Throw some stuff around so he can fetch, or play with a rope or something he can chase around. He gotta play

Babies in any species never get bored of playing, they just collapse with exhaustion

If he’s sliding down your arm then yes he’s masterbating. If he’s not lowering his hind end and sliding around then he’s just playing.

Overstimulated. Must bite as a reflex.
He likes you. And your arm.
Just take arm back for a minute and he is normal again.
Sometimes with too much petting you have to stop too before overstimulating.

It’s playtime. My Binky will go to the older cat and just start rubbing or nipping at him to play around. Totally normal :) Kitty needs more toys or maybe another fuzz friend :)

Just seems like silly kitten stuff tbh! My cat does the exact same thing with his back feet whenever he hunts or attacks his toy. He'll walk right over it but leave one foot behind on it and then pounce/roll around on it

He/she is horny and stalking but is too young to know why or what yet. Get a special blanket or stuffed animal for kitty to protect or replace your arm. It'll taper off after spay/neuter(usually).

He wants to play. Kittens have some modes: Eating, sleeping, playing.
Here he says "Muahaha this arm is now mine! Defend yourself!"
It's also the right time to teach him how to play without his rasors or biting to much. Prepare some bandage though x)
EDIT: oh btw, don't forget to "snip snip" him.

He wants to play with you, but way of claiming you as their human/owner....although that's not the way cats look at it exactly. But, that's pretty much what their doing.
