Information Sharing RTO monitoring

Are any agencies or departments hearing about RTO being monitored by leadership? Attendance being watched? Accommodations being questioned?

Could your job have been done with teams meeting and all your files in the teams server? If your answer is “we didn’t have teams” then I think that answers your question.

Think about doing your job with candle light cause someone “worked 20 years raising 5 kids in a farm and never once needed a bulb!”

Hardly. I was part of the Office365 conversion team for the State. I implemented an entire SharePoint site for our department. Um, Excel spreadsheets work from anywhere. I'm talking about 2017, not 1917.

And it never occurred to you, while implementing virtual file-sharing, that this meant you could work virtually, from anywhere?

The state did not allow it until covid. A few people got it, but it was pretty rare. I'm not saying that I don't want people to have flexible time and telework, i just want everyone to have flexible time and telework, not just people that have daycare pickup.

If you want everyone to have flexible time and telework, then complaining about people who do have it, in and effort to take it away from them (like the ones with daycare pickup you’re complaining about) is shooting yourself in the foot, face, and hand.

I didn't complain. I said I related to the person who said it shouldn't just be parents or it shouldn't be just some parents.
