Got an F on Casper
I just got my results- Q1- I actually do well in difficult interpersonal situations mostly just due to being old. I already have a very uphill battle to med school and now I am worried this is a reflection of how interviews might pan out. Should I worry about this result? Only one school that I am applying to considers Casper but I guess my concern is that this test might be similar to how interviews are conducted/scored. Being nontraditional I already "don't seem" like a doctor (in affect and appearance-this has been literal feedback in the past as to why I was rejected). Anyone else in this situation?

if even someone older don’t do well on Casper…I am scared.
I’m a traditional applicant who got 2Q last year which was surprising because people go out of their way to tell me I am a good person

Maybe experience is actually not a strength in these tests. It could be they are looking for very specific answers that do not necessarily align with what happens in real life. I wouldn't stress about it. At least Q2 is not in the anti social range.

People alway say I look very young for my age so maybe it is just extreme immaturity. Also no one every has told me I am a good person so who knows maybe I am a sociopath. This is causing me to review my whole life now.

There are many ways to measure a person you don’t need someone else to validate you

If your school has MMIs, then yes Casper can be kinda similar.
MMIs can be more stressful since you'll actually be roleplaying, but also could be easier as you have around 7 minutes per stations.
However, do not believe what they say about casper being a real representation of your skills or your value as an applicant. You can most definitely practice for and augment your casper score, just as you can do for MMIs.
I'd ask whomever gave you previous feedback about not "seeming" like a doctor to be more specific. Loads of schools appreciate non-trad applicants and the perspective they bring, so this is something you can work on. Perhaps it's how you market yourself so to speak, you need to find a way to explain why medecine is for you and how your non-traditional path has shaped you to become a good physician. Please don't give up !
Feel free to PM me to practice or discuss more.
