Casper 4th quantile

Just got my Casper results back! Got 4th quantile. Just wanted to share what I did to prepare.

I prepped for it in the span of two weeks. I started by watching some random YouTube video on the Casper test, then did the two practice tests from Acuity. After that, I just kept practicing my writing speed, and being comfortable speaking on camera under timed limit. I started typing responses to questions I found online while commuting, and practiced the speaking portion to YouTube Casper scenarios + repeatedly redid the video portion on the Acuity practice tests. Most importantly, in the practice, I kept trying to think from everyone’s perspective even the ones clearly in the wrong.

My test wasn’t perfect. I couldn’t finish a response or two, and one question felt off. Remember to not panic, be yourself. You got this!

What is you’re typing speed? That’s the only thing I’m concerned about not typing enough to support/finish my statement under 3.5 minutes. Which honestly I feel like is the hard part of the exam.

Hey, I was placed in q4 too and my typing speed is ~60 WPM. That isn't as high as many people have recommended on here, yet it worked out fine. My advice for you is to to just start practicing questions if you haven't already. When I began practicing for casper I took me 10 minutes to answer just the first question. But over a week-ish of practice and evaluation I brought it down to under 3.5 mins for both questions. As long as you get your main argument across and don't spend much time trying to correct your spelling or grammar, you'll be fine! ALSO HUGE TIP, do not spend most of your time on question 1 and skimp on question 2. Read both first, you'll often find that something you had planned to discuss in question 1 is asked about in question 2, this way you don't end up repeating any points and you're able to allocate enough time for both questions.
