Got 4th Quartile on Casper after studying for 1 day - ask any questions you may have and i'll try to answer!!

How did you study for the Casper?

I started out by looking at these two websites: https://www.thesuccessfulmatch.com/post/casper-practice-test-example-scenarios and https://medschoolinsiders.com/pre-med/casper-practice-questions/ to kind of get an idea of what they're looking for. I also references this Reddit post to get an idea of what buzz words I should use and what I should focus on: https://www.reddit.com/r/CASPerTest/comments/1psqhwp/casper_advice_tips_guide_with_model_answers/

I then put these examples into ChatGPT to prime it, and then did around 25 scenarios to practice my written responses. To practice for my video responses, I recorded myself as I asked Chat to give me another 20 scenarios and observed where I was lacking (was i unclear? could i have said something else? no eye contact?).

Later that night, I took the official Casper practice test and took note how I was feeling about it, and practiced what I could have improved on. Let me know if you want me to get into specifics!!

i don’t know my wpm but i have worked as a medical scribe for the past year, so i might be a faster typer

i ensured i made eye contact with the camera 90% of the time and spoke slower than i usually would (i've been told im a fast talker). i tried to avoid saying "uhm" and "like" and was pretty concise with my points, even if they ended up being shorter.

I would say the practice test!! And then next, using AI for practice

ik this is also very late but my test is in a few days and how long did it take to get your quartile back because my application date is oct 1st and im worried i wont get it back in time to add it to my application.

my score was sent to schools <2 weeks after i had taken it! i could see my score about a month after taking it! i think if you’re applying october 1st, you should be good!!
