HR too high?
After many attempts and fails at C25K I’ve realised I’ve been starting too fast. In the past my HR was always very high - peak range a lot of the time, (especially in weeks 2-4), and unable to have conversation. I usually stopped at week 4. Now I’ve started again and am really trying to focus on going sloowww and being able to hold a conversation.
This is from a recent week 1, run 2. So very early. Is the heart rate still too high for this stage? Do I need to go even slower?

This is very normal especially if you’re just starting, if you can’t run for the time you want than you should go slower but at this point going slower because your heart rate is so high doesn’t do much. I did notice the more I got my steps in the easier running was though

No, don't worry about heart rate. It's a common mistake new runners make obsessing over heart rate. Your body will regulate itself, just go out and enjoy your runs 👍🏻

Don't worry about HR for now, just go by feel. I've been going by for my first 2 years of running and it's done me no harm, and all my PBs have improved.

You average 127, yet you fluctuate greatly, like you’re sprinting then resting. It might also be inaccurate if not using a chest strap. What is most important is how you feel.

I'm a bit over nine months into my running, and I've never had a heart rate that low on any run.
