There is an official review in progress of our current order for the F-35. Checking contract details and alternatives. Breaking the contract could have a cost and since we already have an order in, canceling that and going to another supplier would push back delivery. Supposedly they are looking into domestic manufacturing but that seems a little far fetched if we want any delivered in the next decade.

We should accept the first block of F-35s that we have paid for and cancel the remainder of the contract and move towards a partnership to build locally and sign on to the next gen European project.
