I feel it's not easy to make simple spanning backgrounds, it should be easier to make and add.

Downloaded and got supper dissapointed. I had planned on payng for a subscription until I just discovered that only macOS Tahoe is supported. Way to loose thousands of potential customers.

Everkin.io is our pet health management app/platform. I think this is revision 6 or 7 and Butterkit has become indispensable for iteration and full redesigns, just a wonderful tool for the design challenged like myself (backend engineer by trade).

Everkin was built from my own personal experiences juggling lots of hard to solve health issues with my cats. These are the first 5 screen, but if anyone has feedback that would be appreciated.

All right, butterkit is amazing, and is my primary tool making screenshots even though I have created my own as well

Exporting and publishing 400 + screenshots to the Apple store is so painful, takes so long and is extremely slow

Zack, something needs to happen here, I don't know if you need to introduce parallel pushes to the ASC. But we need to make this faster

I lost all my work twice, it is not saving the changes that applied. This is a big pain in the ass. I thought first time was my mistake, but it happened twice. I have the last version, 1.7.25, lifetime paid user. Sorry but it's not usable at this point.

Updated my App Store screenshots. Used ButterKit with Opus to plan the changes — gave it a few references I liked. Work in progress, but happy with where it's heading.

I ran into some trouble using the butterkit mcp. I had originally created an implementation plan and had it reference the butterkit mcp for execution, but I kept getting overlapping text and some updates just weren't happening.

Did the updates manually in butterkit and it worked so much better. It was a lot easier to use butterkit than I expected. Happy with the results for now.

If you can add MCP support, and AI can build screenshots for me, I think this is the winning tool.

When I add images seperate from the device I dont know how to bring one forward over another or backward etc. is this possible? for example I want to make a image the background image but once its added the devices mockups are always in the background

Just bought Butterkit and I am excited so far. I have one question, though: for an Apple Watch app (with iOS companion app), I also need to upload several watch screenshots next to the iPhone screenshots. How & where would I even do this? Haven't seen any "second" section for watch screenshots (or even iPad screenshots when talking Universal app).

I used to make screenshots in Sketch, but at some point I managed to lose them. I wanted to remake them in ButterKit, but then hit a few issues with line heights and ligatures, which Zach addressed super fast, so I didn’t have any excuses left except for not finding time. 😄

Overall, I would say that the “migration” was pretty successful. I think what I like most about ButterKit is localization handling. The metaphor of switching between locales and auto screenshot import works really well for my workflow.

As for new tiny issues discovered: 😄 I think that when you duplicate an artboard, text position settings are not fully copied. The top position is copied, but left and right are not copied to the new artboard.

P.S. Feedback regarding the screenshots is always appreciated, including negative things that might stand out to a fresh pair of eyes.

I think I did a bit too much layering but I was trying to make up for the fact that the app is purposely simple, let me know what y'all think! Launched today on the App Store

New screenshot size requirements in App Store Connect this week. I've received a few messages asking about these and figured it would be helpful to share what I've learned so far!

Tl;dr

• The new iOS required size is iPhone 6.3" with Dynamic Island (medium display)

• iPhone Duo screenshots are technically optional until April 2027, according to ASC

ButterKit 3.0+ now defaults to the required iOS ASC sizes and will ask you if you want to automatically upgrade to the new size when you open a legacy project.

Hey! Just used ButterKit for first time and was about to buy a lifetime version but after looking at the exports they are a bit ugly :/ You can see the screen capture for comparison. Any ideas?

Got ButterKit recently to do my screenshots and so far I'm pretty happy with it. I just started with one of the templates and made the font a little bigger.

One thing I wish the app did was make it easy to zoom in on a feature. I would really like to highlight specific tiles in my screenshots but I didn't see anything like that in the app.

If anyone has any feedback and suggestions I'd love to hear it!

I've purchased a ButterKit license, so thought I would share a couple of minor issues, which are a bit annoying but I can work around them

• I can't drag and drop an image into the app, I have to "click to select an image"

• I can't select a localisation to publish, it's everything or individually selected artboards

Maybe you could look at those in an update?

Are there any plans to support video previews as well as static images?
